May 10th: The Fang and Talon....

"Oh, forget this," Rob says, "You think I'm running?"

Reaching into his coat, Rob grabbed a red and white sphere. Chucking it at the group as it burst in mid-air releasing a net.

[Narrator]

They did the time-honored strategy.

They split up.

Rob caught three of'em in a net, while the other two dashed down opposite alleys.

[Nick Varkan]

"So... Follow Rob's idea to catch the real bad guys on our way or just plain get the fuck out of here?"

[Calvin Strong]

"We can't go back empty handed," Cal said. "Someone bug the fuck out with that briefcase, you help me grab these assholes," he added, taking off after the two escapees.

[Nick Varkan]

"Read my mind," Nick agreed. "Kat, make sure the briefcase gets out of here," he added as he joined the chase.

[Kathrin Schmidt]

"Gotcha!" And with that her and the briefcase took to the air.

[Calvin Strong]

"Give 'em a shove!" Cal told Nick as they rounded the corner after the fleeing hoodlums.

[Narrator]

Around the corner, one of the dudes had drawn a pretty nasty looking knife, and he clearly had some experience using it, thrusting forward.

[Nick Varkan]

The thugs would find themselves tossed into the wall.

"Didn't anyone tell you not to bring a knife to a superfight?"

[Calvin Strong]

"Well, they do look pretty stupid," Cal said, "Maybe they forgot." He went for the one with the knife, aiming to disarm him, not really worrying about being too gentle.

[Narrator]

"Fuckin' mutie bastards!" one spat at them.

[Calvin Strong]

"See, now you're saying things about my parents like that, it makes me want to do things to you," Cal mused, giving the guy a good hit to the mouth for good measure. "Lucky you, we need you in good shape to answer questions. Can you keep these idiot secure?"

[Nick Varkan]

"They won't move a muscle," he smirked, applying a holding force. Also, tying them up with a clothesline.

[Narrator]

"Motherfuckers."

[Nick Varkan]

Nick hit him. Whether Nick was playing the part or just wanted to hit the guy was debatable.

"I'll hold your fucking mouth closed if I have to."

[Narrator]

"Get your perverted mutey fingers off of me."

[Nick Varkan]

Nick held the guy's mouth shut with his TK, and backhanded him.

"Anyone else wanna be a racist shithead?"

[Calvin Strong]

"They seem really preoccupied with things getting fucked," Cal said as he checked that the coast was still clear. "I think they've got the hots for you. Let's get out of here."

[Nick Varkan]

"Best damn idea all day."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal watched and made sure that the coast was clear as they made their way back to the bar.
