Fight #7: Nick v. "Talon"

Postby Narrator » Thu Jan 06, 2011 8:14 pm

The young asian man flexed his knuckles and leaned from side to side on the balls of his feet.

Nick stretched his neck before cracking his knuckles.

"Easy there Bruce Lee, this ain't no karate match."

「外人は驚かされるか? さ、すぐに殺すぜ!」

And with that, he lept at Nick with a flying kick--faster than a normal human being for sure.

And Nick flew sideways, wind from the passing super-powered kick causing his open jacket to flap in the breeze.

Talon landed a bit roughly, but quickly pivoted and lashed out a sweep headed for Nick's ankles.

Nick used his powers to pivot his body at his center of gravity in an effort to avoid the attack and deliver his own kick to Talon's face.

...Only Talon, showing the flexibility of a contortionist, ducked his head down under Nick's leg, with an audible pop.

He rolled back, and lept back to his feet, getting back into a ready position, and tapping the side of his nose twice.

Nick landed fluidly.

Damn he's quick. Then's lets add more targets.

He telekinetically lifted random objects about the room, anything that looked suitably heavy, and sent them after his foe. He planned to keep him busy, hoping a better line of attack would present itself.

Talon DESTROYED one box, literally turning it into white and brown powder, with a kick, and whirled around, sending a second box hurtling towards the wall.

This DID leave him open, however...

Nick took the shot and lunged with a hard TK-assisted punch, releasing his concussive blast with the hit.

...the punch sent Talon flying back into the wall, which he hit, hard, and lay there, after scrunching up.

Nick stepped closer to see if Talon was indeed out, but not too close.

Which is what saved him from taking the sweep, but the white powder that hit him in the face and eyes stung like a son of a bitch and blinded him.

And that's when he got a hard, HARD kick to the face, apparently from forward.

Nick stumbled back.

Ow! Fuck!

His closed eyes began to glow as he used his TK to get a vague sense of his immediate surroundings and would strike with a blast if he sensed his foe breaching the perimeter.

...which he was, coming in with yet ANOTHER kick (or maybe it was a punch, hard to tell from no-vision land).

The TK blast did send him hurtling....away, though.

And there was a loud crash.

And now it was if everything was through a dense white fog, but a blurry shape was heading right for him

Still mostly relying on his TK field, Nick blasted at the shape.

Blowing the guy back yet again! Another loud 'thump'

Almost clear now---not quite, but almost....but this time there were TWO blobs coming in?

Nick smirked and let out a blast from each hand, one for each target.

And then there was a shattering, and a thump....and no more blob.

As his vision returned, he saw Talon crunched over in one corner, writhing.

"Not falling for that twice," he said, telekinetically hurtling a bottle at Talon's head to knock him out.

And yay! Nick learned things!

With a groan, Talon slumped, unconscious.

Nick lit up a cigarette.

"Anyone else want a go?" he smirked, exhaling smoke.
