[Alyson Gregory]

"You're alive." Alyson said, sounding both happy and surprised.

[Onyx]

Onyx nods, looking pretty surprised herself. Her hands feel along her neck.

"You freed me."

[Alyson Gregory]

"Yeah, I guess I did."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria, meanwhile, remained silent and for all intents out of the conversation as she did something magical to continue wreaking havoc on things.

[Onyx]

Onyx just sat there looking shocked. Kind of. It was hard to tell what emotion shadows were expressing.

[Alyson Gregory]

"What now?" she asked Victoria.

[Victoria Valentine]

"I make sure that everyone here is dead that we want dead, and she shows you where the children she was trying to rescue were. Then we make sure this place comes down when we leave," she said, her voice a bit distant.

[Onyx]

Onyx slides along the ground, anchoring herself into place as Alyson's shadow.

Alyson reached out to Onyx, trying to steady her.

Onyx's hand gave Alyson's a gentle squeeze.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Might I add that I can't keep everything pinned down indefinitely?" Victoria put in without looking back.

[Alyson Gregory]

"I was waiting for you to say that they were dead." Alyson replied, her attention focused on Onyx.

[Victoria Valentine]

"They will be soon. No time like the present to find the children, No one can stop you."

[Alyson Gregory]

"I'll take care of it." Alyson said, bending down to pick up Onyx.

[Onyx]

Onyx wraps herself around Alyson and leads her to the children. A short time later they'd managed to free them and teleport them to safety.
