"When I mentioned a recording studio, I was talking about working as a sound engineer."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"Aww, so it's not your music?" Mercy doesn't halt the download.

[Constantine McGraw]

"No, it's mine. I have a recording setup at home I use for solo stuff."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"Cool. So see? I do want to see your stuff." Mercy plugs in her earphones, and puts just one earbud in her ear so she can still talk to Constantine. She fires up the first downloaded song.

The stuff Con had uploaded was a mixture of rock, goth and 'light' thrash, some of it purely instrumental. He'd selected pieces that showcased his guitar and vocal talents whilst staying away from the darker themes of some of his other work.

[Mercy Wilkins]

Mercy listens with her head cocked to the side. "Hmmm, interesting."

[Constantine McGraw]

"Good interesting or bad interesting?" after debating for a moment whether or not to just let Mercy listen.

[Mercy Wilkins]

"I'm surprised at how light the thrash is, considering that you made a big deal out of things being fluffy or not."

[Constantine McGraw]

Con smirked. "I didn't want to scare all the bunnies away."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"I'd like to hear your harder stuff then, but this is good."

[Constantine McGraw]

"My harder stuff can get a lot darker, which is why it isn't up there."

[Mercy Wilkins]

Mercy smirks. "I can control Darkforce. Dark doesn't bother me."

[Constantine McGraw]

"Alright." Con replied, taking another sip of coffee. "Ask me again sometime."

[Mercy Wilkins]

"Count on it." She checks the time on her phone. "Got to get to class. See you around."

[Constantine McGraw]

"See ya." Con agreed, finishing his sandwich and coffee before he too headed off.
