April 7th - Bearing down on me

MsChif and Anarchy made their way toward Vandal's room. Sara had no idea what she was thinking, or what she was going to say or even do. A million things came to mind, none of them good enough. She had kept this girl from her father for years, and he didn't even know.. Knocking gently, she moved Anarchy in between her and the door, waiting for it to open.

The door opened.

"I was wondering when you might drop by for a chat," Vandal said from his desk.

The two walked in, MsChif closing the door behind her. "I need to explain some things...and apologize.." She said softly, unable to even look at him.

"Explain what?" he asked. However, seeing Anarchy gave him an inkling as to the reason MsChif was there.

"Hi Daddy..." The girl said softly, waving. MsChif just looked down at her, her eyes wide at the sudden outburst. She wanted to let it out a bit more gently.

"I wanted to, Nick.. I really did. There are just complications involving it.." She continued, still looking down, as Anarchy runs off toward Nick and hugs him.

As disarming as it was, Vandal moved back from the desk to give the girl room.

"Let me guess, the bi... Valentine said no," he said bitterly.

"It's more complicated then that, Nick." She said, moving closer to the two of them. "She has a sister..and look, can you just bite my head off now? I've been feeling guilty for the last ten years.." She continued, her attitude completely changing. "You have twin daughters, Nick. Kimee here, and Mina, who is with Victoria."

The girl nodded and moved outside of the door for a bit, she waited nearby.

Mschif took a few deep breaths, wiped her eyes, and turned to him. "Nick, I know you are angry..and you have every right to be..."

"Probably, but she has never..." She just shut herself up right there. Letting him vent. Biting her bottom lip, she thought about the things that Victoria asked her to do over the years.
