"I see? Have you come to exact a blood price?"

"I've come as a courtesy, I've come because I'm in no position to give up a 'feather cloak' and I've come because I expect you to stop."

"I will stop, if I can have one thing."

"It seems a bit dubious to ask to bargain with me, but go ahead and say it."

[Narrator]

"Tell me your name. When you are not called Morrigan, what are you called?"

[Samantha McManus]

She chuckled.

"That you could have found out easily enough even if I hadn't told you."

"Samantha McManus."

[Narrator]

"It is better to hear it from you. I will leave you and your people alone for now, McManus. You do not have what I was looking for. But there are dire creatures about, and I am not responsible for all of them."

[Samantha McManus]

She made eye contact with him, just studying him for a few moments.

"You know, I've spoken with sorcerers before, and even most of them would find you a bit odd, I think."

"And I look at you, and I just think at one time something must have turned you around, turned everything inside-out for you."

"I almost wonder what that was."

[Narrator]

"I have walked hard roads, trying to find my gods. I have spent... a long time away from mortals, trying to undo what Mordred did. Perhaps I have become strange, I don't know anymore."

[Samantha McManus]

"...I know some of what that's like."

She shook her head and turned to go.

"Take care, Kyllian."

[Narrator]

"The blessings of the Old Ones on you, Samantha."

[Samantha McManus]

"Our blessings are what we make of them."

She headed back to the boat.
