Unassuming House pt. 2

[Robin Stanton]

"Yeah yeah, everyone's shaking in their boots."

[Cailleach]

"I'd expect one to become accustomed to hiding it reasonably well when they choose to live with it constantly... or am I not speaking to you from a place hidden beneath the ground?" Vivien said, her smile almost bordering on a sneer.

[Robin Stanton]

"Yes, your method of hiding is so much better. Spare me the gloating, oh Annoying One."

[MsChif]

"Children, calm yourselves... is this really the time for you to be bickering?" Sara said with an annoyed look. "Why don't we all just go sit down, and relax...it has been a very long day for some of us." She continued, motioning toward the hallway.

[Anarchy]

Kimee giggled from behind Robin, at the teenagers being called children.

[Cailleach]

"You overstep yourself," Vivien said coldly, slowly turning a cold gaze toward Sara, and as a result Kimee. "Pray learn again to mind your tone, lest my Queen require the other half of the partial payment she accepted for your liberties," she added, this time her gaze turning very deliberately to Kimee for a moment.

[Robin Stanton]

"Dad, meet 'Queen' Valentine's offspring, Princess Frigid." she 'whispers' loud enough for Cailleach to hear it.

[Cailleach]

Vivien smiled with faint amusement at this. "We forgive your future offspring's rudeness," she mused. "After all, a life slumming to avoid Sentinels would obviously make one... ill-tempered."

[Robin Stanton]

"Go shove an icicle up your--"

[Will Stanton]

"Robin!"

[Cailleach]

"Such... colorful language. It speaks volumes about your upbringing, I'd imagine. No matter, One hardly expects to encounter manners outside the palace in these times."

[MsChif]

"Lady Vivian, I meant no disrespect, but seeing as we are all just standing here, I figured we should relax, sit, maybe have something to drink..I know I could use one..like mothers....like daughters.." She said mostly to herself near the end, before contacting Victoria. "Sending her here is only going to make things harder, Milady.., you should know how she gets with Robin.."

[Anarchy]

Kimee sighed, moving from behind Robin. "Is there a point to this?" The girl said harshly, her tone completely different then a moment ago.

[Talos]

"No, there really isn't," Talos answered as the mechanical man himself approached. To the people from the past he would appear entirely different; his human trappings abandoned for a cold metal shell.

[Anarchy]

"That's what I figured..." The girl said with a heavy sigh, stretching for a moment, then heading down the hallway.

[Will Stanton]

"Why me," Will muttered under his breath.

[Cailleach]

"Of course you mean disrespect," Vivien said, amused. "Nevertheless, it's for my mother to truly judge that. However, as my presence here is unwanted, I will depart, until your young visitors decide that they tire of your constant war." With a final, far-too-familiar smile at Kimee, Vivian vanished in a puff of snowflakes.

[Stan Bowen]

A little while later, Stan made his way into the area.

"Hmm.. I think I'm getting the layout down now. I hope I'm not interrupting.."

[MsChif]

"Professor Bowen, it truly has been a long time..." She said with a smile, ignoring Vivian, and moving on to her job. The woman moved over toward him and extended her hand. "We really did appreciate your help with the underground movement to protect those children... very commendable." The woman held her warm smile. "I still appreciate the work you did back when we were at the university..I wouldn't be here today without your vaccine.." She whispered to him.

[Stan Bowen]

Stan managed a smile, remembering the person before him from an earlier time.

"Sara McDohl?"

[MsChif]

"There's only one of me." She said with a smile, which faded soon after. "It was such a tragedy to see you go.."

[Stan Bowen]

Stan nodded, solemnly.

"This entire situation is a tragedy.. One we need to fix. And one I'm hoping Ms. Valentine will be able to provide a path for."

[MsChif]

Sara just smiled as she moved the conversation. "You should know Victoria by now Prof. Bowen... nothing comes without a price that price may be a hefty one.". She mindspoke to him.

[Stan Bowen]

Stan nodded, grimly.

"In the state we are in, and what needs doing, we might have to pay that price."

[MsChif]

"Be very careful of your choices, Prof. Bowen. You do not want to make any mistakes with Victoria..or Vivian.."

[Stan Bowen]

Stan nodded again, giving a measured look of everyone present.

"We do what we must, Sara."

[MsChif]

"I just don't want to see anyone get hurt...I don't think I could handle it a second time.."

[Stan Bowen]

"Look around.. everyone is hurting already."

[MsChif]

"I know all too well about that.."
