Marcus was sitting beside Rick. He didn't have much to say as he was really hoping the future would of turned out better than this. As for the future thing, that didn't seem like a big jump from the parallel universe stuff..so he was taking the news okay for the most part.

Melody was silent for a large chunk of the car ride, just staring vacantly out the window, her head pounding. After hearing the story, on top of seeing the devastation, tears started to fall down her cheeks. Her chin trembled, trying hard not to just break out sobbing.
