[Reaper]

Reaper slid into Daniel's mind, and took control of his body, freezing him in place. "Anyone else going to get cute? Or do you idiots want to live?"

[Taliesin]

Tailesin, meanwhile, seemed to vanish into the pavement, coming out of a sidewall, leaning over Will.

[Robin Stanton]

The woman standing slightly behind Reaper was glancing over the people leaving the building. When her eyes wander over Will and Sara she drops down to her knees on the rubble outside.

It is a trap! she thinks towards Reaper.

After a couple of seconds the pile of concrete and steel she's kneeling on starts to to rise in a very rough cobbled together humanoid shape.

[Rick Ferguson]

"If you'll stop trying to kill us, gladly!," Rick shouted to Reaper, glaring as he rushed straight at Taliesin, winds whipping about him.

[Sara Stanton]

"Will!" Sara screams as he's felled by the bullet, immidiately shifting to stone, throwing a punch towards Taliesin as he appears next to Will but being stopped by the familiar, yet different face on the attacker.

[Reaper]

"If I was trying to kill you, you'd be dead." Reaper replied, her mouth tightening in anger as she saw the woman defending Will.

[Daniel Uriel]

Daniel, unable to move, seemed to be trying to say something through a locked-down tongue and jaw. It was mostly unintelligible, although something close to "bitch" could be heard.

[Robin Stanton]

Seeing Rick gear up to attack Taliesin Robin melts into the rubble-golem she's sitting on before the construct brakes into a lumbering sprint towards the group of students.

[Taliesin]

What was 'straight as Talisin' a moment ago turned out to be 'just in front of Talisin' as, without standing up, he shifted his mass backwards, so where his back was a moment ago, his front was now, and his back further behind that.

That would have left Rick plunging straight at Sara, but Talisen formed what looked like a large butterfly net, swooping it forward, catching Rick in mid flight and slamming him against a wall.

[Rick Ferguson]

Rick hit the wall with an "Oof," losing a lot of the wind shield thanks to the hit on the wall.

[Sara Stanton]

While Taliesin is busy with Rick Sara hurries over to Will and starts dragging him away from the brawl a bit.

[Melody Martens]

Melody was in absolute shock, first at seeing where exactly they were, and then seeing someone she'd seen in several of her classes get shot in the head. Her eyes darted around, trying to decide what to do, who to attack, or where to run. The glow from her time bombs intensified, as she idly moved them around in her hand, crouched defensively, just waiting for someone to provoke her into throwing them. She moved closer to Sara and Will, providing the stone girl and the prone Will some cover.

[John Hino]

John raced to intercept the golem, grabbing a fallen light-post to use as a weapon. When in range, he swung it at the lumbering beast with tremendous force.

[Robin Stanton]

The thing is about as robust as it looks, which is to say it loses a good chunk of concrete from it's makeshift 'leg' as John swings at it. The construct doesn't seem to be bothered too much though and swings one of it's reinforced concrete arms at him.

Just as the bulky golem leans down with it's punch something launches itself out of the thing's back, shifting from an undefined mass back into the white-haired woman as she jumps over John and towards Melody, one arm raised and shifted into a metal blade.

[John Hino]

John grabbed the fist as it came down, his feet digging into the pavement from the force.

[Melody Martens]

"Leave us alone!" she cried.

Melody flung all three of the time bombs she had in her hand towards the woman, and almost instantly formed more in both hands. Her eyes began to glow and crackle with energy as she pushed more power into the bombs. Her first volley, wherever they landed were more like flashbangs--lots of light, quite a bit of sound, but not all that much force, these next ones would explode like real grenades.

[Robin Stanton]

The golem stops for a moment, staring at John with hubcap 'eyes' before trying to side-swipe him with it's other arm.

Robin meanwhile pushes through the first volley of explosions, although the flashes distract her enough that she misses her target, her blade-arm digging into the ground next to Melody as she lands in a crouch. A quick glance towards Sara dragging the incapacitated Will and she glares at Melody again, her free arm extending as she throws a punch at Melody.

[John Hino]

John attempted to force the fist he was grappling with down into the path of the other fist.

[Stan Bowen]

"Everyone, CALM Down! RIGHT NOW!"

Stan punctuated his statement with a raise of his arms, showing no hostile intent.

"There is no need for this!"

Although he was taking the steps of peace, any attack against him would be immediately responded to.

[Melody Martens]

Melody pulled energy out of her timebombs as she blocked the punch, and brought her other hand towards Robin in a real guard, detonating the bombs in her hand as she did so, letting out a blinding flash and thunderous boom right in Robin's face. Her own attacks didn't bother her in the slightest, but she hoped they'd slow down her attacker.

Daniel, in the meantime, strained to move, running through the exercises Exodus had taught him to break psychic contacts. Slowly, the air started to heat a bit around him...

[Robin Stanton]

Robin completely ignores Stan, taking the blast to the face which slows her down for exactly as long as it takes her to grow a new head, which comes back made of metal and she proceeds to use it to headbutt Melody.

Meanwhile the golem follows through with his swipe and, thanks to John, shatters it's other arm in a concrete and plaster explosion. The freed up stump that's left at the 'elbow' comes down on John again though.

[Reaper]

Maintaining her hold on Daniel, Reaper had slid into Aly's mind and was holding her immobile, now she moved on to Melody.

[Veronica Freud]

"He said ENOUGH!"

If Dr. Bowen's demand for a cease fire wasn't getting through to these people perhaps the booming voice of a 50' woman would. Ronnie rose above the rubble; something that always got her some attention.

"We mean you no harm! But we will defend ourselves! I'd rather not have to leave you three as smears on my boots but I will if you make me!"

To prove her point she brought her arm back and slammed a punch at the Golem's midsection. She'd been working out; no longer as weak at larger sizes as she once was.

[Melody Martens]

Melody staggered backwards from Robin, seeing stars as she tried to orient herself. Gritting her teeth, her eyes flared with blue energy that almost seemed to evaporate the tears that were streaming down her cheeks now. She pushed hard, forming a bomb the size of a volleyball in between her hands, and holding on to it, ready to use it as a shield or melee weapon if Robin came at her again.

Between her pounding forehead, and the focus of making such a big bomb, and being rather concerned with the metal-headed monstrosity in front of her, she didn't notice the probes into her mind.

[John Hino]

John jumped out of the way as the stump hit ground. He had been about to retaliate when Ronnie shouted, so he instead moved out of the path of the giant girl's fist... and the bomb.

[Robin Stanton]

Undeterred Robin keeps pushing towards Melody, vaguely aware of the giant woman nearby. Oddly enough she charges straight into the energy ball Melody is creating, setting off a detonation that splatters her against the front of the M Industries building. While Ronnie's fist shatters the golem into pieces Robin's remains start to seep into the steel and glass of the building.

[Aiden Mitchell]

Aiden shifted, and once ronnie finished shouting he roared to add emphasis to Ronnie's point.

[Reaper]

Are you fucking retarded? Reaper said telepathically to Ronnie Shrink, before we have Sentinels on our ass.

[Taliesin]

"It's not a trap," Talisian said, calmly, as he shot towards Aiden and landed on his back. "Everyone needs to calm down.

Unless you particularly WANT to die, then we can keep this up all day."

[Robin Stanton]

"Then who are those fucking impostors?" Robin glares down from the girder where she shifted back into her white-haired self.

[Will Stanton]

"Oh, my head..." Will moaned. "Anyone get the number of that truck?"

[Melody Martens]

"YOU'RE the assholes that started this. You fucking SHOT one of us," Melody yelled accusingly. In spite of her throbbing head she held a new time bomb in each hand, just waiting for an excuse to throw them. "Where the fuck are we, who the fuck are you, and why the fuck did you just shoot our teammate?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Are you okay?" Sara asks, helping to prop Will up.

[Taliesin]

"He's fine, London, and the person who's gonna save your asses, in no particular order."

[Will Stanton]

"I'll be alright," Will said, rubbing the closing hole on his forehead.

[Rick Ferguson]

"If you're here to save are asses, would you mind moving your net? I'd really appreciate it.

[Robin Stanton]

"You're the assholes who show up here with shifters looking like this!" Robin yells down from where she's perched, pointing at Will and Sara.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara just blinks, looking hopelessly confused.

[Taliesin]

"Calm down, hon, you're only half right," Talisean said, patiently, letting go of Rick.
