Cal did a quick survey of the occupants of the bar as he entered. Oh sh- wait, that's not Jess. Hmm... well, I guess I can't avoid people forever. He walked up and took a seat at the bar, ordering a beer as he surveyed the room.

Simon looked around a little confused before spying Byrna and Chloe, smiling and giving a little wave. He paid for his pint and approached the table with a wide smile.

"Hey there ladies."

"Thanks" Simon said to Chloe softly, sitting down. He even took the time to pull out a coaster from the stack to set his glass down upon.

"And I hope you're all doing quite well as well... well." Simon smiled at his own awkwardness.

Turning to Bear, she smiles as she tries to bring her back down to normal. "I think I've made my point..."

"Aww heck, it wasn't anything. You did all the work, I just carried you around a bit." Truth be told he had thought he was a bit useless that day, so he took Bear's ego stroking to heart.

Simon blushed a little bit, glancing as Chloe. Boyfriend? He didn't realize they had gotten that far yet. Not that he seemed to mind the label. He reached across the table and offered his hand to Ayami. "Nice to meet you Ayami. Your hair is awesome."

Bear started absently stroking Simon's biceps before blinking, and pulling away as Ayami's influence dissipated.

Blushing, she scooted her chair back and went silent.

After Constantine packed up, Juma turned to some reading for his philosophy class. After finishing up a chapter he tucks it away and finishes off his drink, glancing around the room again.
