Unable to see Madrox for a moment, the gun-toting skrull fires at Rick, but since Rick is currently tornado-ed up, the bullet has no effect.

It then aims at the top of the shipping containers, trying to track where Madrox will appear and get a shot as soon as it sees him.

Madrox would appear briefly as he jumped the gaps between containers. Nearer to the Skrull he made a jump, then doubled back to climb down and run along the far side of the row of stacks to trick his target.

The skrull fires with decent accuracy, close to as good as Madrox is with his repulsor. It barely misses Maddie on the shot when he jumps a gap, and then just watches and waits, trying to anticipate where Madrox will appear again, but still mostly aiming up.

Rick could indeed hardly even tell that he had been shot at, other then perhaps the sound of a ricochet hitting off of something else. Seeing that Rachel had just taken the worst blow, he moved in to sweep by the Skrull that had just stricken her.

Madrox rolled out into the nearby gap SWAT style and fired his repulsor at the Skrull.

Madrox's blast catches the skrull, and de-rezzes it, leaving him victorious but some good distance from the rest of the team.

Rick's TK tornado is able to toss the skrull facing Rachel away, though he had to give it a lighter tap to avoid hitting Rachel, and thus it struggles back up.

Rick stops himself and spins around within his tornado, facing the Skrull he had just grazed as he tried to make another sweep towards it.

Thankfully for Rachel, the Danger Room's safeties meant that the crowbar in the gut hurt, but it didn't injure her as severely as it might have. She kept up her connection with the Skrulls, but was no longer trying to actively influence any except for the one that was enaged with her, although their breathing and heart-rate would start to syncronize with hers. The skrull who she was fighting would find it hard, as her mind went after is heart and respiration, even as she pulled the knife out of its sheath and started to look for an opening.

The skrull, already knocked down by Rick, has a moment of panic as its heart is attacked. That's all Rick needs to line up the perfect hit to smash it off into the water, it de-rezzes as it goes over the edge of the dock.

Merle has been softening his skrull up pretty well with those rebar knuckles, and it's right about this time that the computer registers the damage taken as enough to incapacitate the skrull, de-rezzing his opponent as well.

Meanwhile, the four skrulls on the boat are freed, and as Madrox approaches them, the computer assigns them combat levels competative with him. Three of the four skrulls pull out alien blasters of some kind, and start firing brilliant white blasts at Madrox with a fair amount of accuracy!

The fourth skrull is wearing some kind of backpack, and when he goes for his gun he gets his hand caught up on something and ends up struggling, staggering around on the boat....

The skrulls are currently really good shots, Madrox is forced to dive for cover behind a container, and doesn't get a clean shot with his repulsor. Three against one is making him work for it.

The shipping containers might hold something. Also, the skrulls fighting his team were outnumbered, if they're down by now Madrox could get help from them...

"You okay?" He asked Rachel over the sound of the winds rushing around his body. "Looks like Talos could use some help."

He spun a few very rapid revolutions to regain any lost momentum, and began to move in the direction of the Skrulls firing on Madrox.

The container, whimsically enough, is full of boxes labled, "Widgets".

On the other hand, just the approach of Rick in Tornado form is enough to take some of the heat off Madrox.

Brightly colored widgets rain up at the skrulls! They stop firing for a moment to figure out what's happening, giving Madrox time to run to the gangplank if he dares.

Merle goes for a leap at any remaining skrull, homing in with an overhead bash. He'll continue playing defense between any incoming skrulls and Rachel.

Merle takes down a skrull, and Rick zips in to knock another down, both de-rezz before they hit the water.

The last skrull is fighting for control of its blaster with a little toy bear, one that is wearing a miniature copy of the Iron Man suit, but without a helmet.

Madrox threw the blaster directly at the final Skrull's head and if the Skrull was distracted at all he'd race for the knockout blow... if the blaster didn't do it.

As soon as Rachel grabs the bear, the simulation ends, the only thing left of it is the bear itself, still in Rachel's hands.

Lumis smiles. "Good job, mission accomplished. I'll be sending out evaluation emails, so for now, just hurry along to your next exercise. Nomic, you can't take the bear out of the Danger Room, but it has been added to your student profile as an object you can ask the DR to re-create."
