Feb. 1 - After Lunch

[Michael Asters]

After lunch, all of Cassiel's Angels Accolytes were scheduled to meet back in the office for a progress meeting.

[Jubilation Lee]

"So" Jubilee said, looking up from the files in front of her "Should I be worried that all of them are hot girls?"

[Michael Asters]

"No," he said, sorting through the files. "You shouldn't be worried about all of them being hot girls. Ah, damn... I'll be back in a minute, one of the reports didn't get sent from the print center." He gave Jubilee's shoulder a quick squeeze as he hurried back out to get the missing report.

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Jezabelle was the first of the new Acolytes to arrive. She was dressed in a black pinstripe business suit with her creme shirt offset by a purple tie with a red V in the center; something from the giftshop downstairs it looked like. She wore her hair up in a bun, held up by a pair of stylized chopsticks, a few stray strands hanging over her black rimmed glasses.

"Oh, hello." She said softly but with a friendly smile to Jubilee, seeing no one else in the room. "Am I early?"

[Ria Larsen]

Ria walks in wearing a crisp... no, nothing about her appearance except her crystal exterior is crisp. Her clothes are baggy, but they aren't revealing and they're monocrome, unwrinkled, and clean, which is about as fancy as she can get without unstable molecules.

She smiles, "Hello." If she's offered a seat or there's one obviously set aside she sits.

[Jubilation Lee]

"Hello." Jubilee replied "I'm Jubilee, I'm going to be helping Cassiel out for a bit."

[Ria Larsen]

Ria's eyebrows go up, far more excited than she's ever shown over Cassiel. "You're Jubilation Lee? THE Jubilation Lee?"

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Lee." Jez replied, maintaining her formal composure. "My name is Jezabelle Sherlock, and this is miss Ria Larsen."

[Jubilation Lee]

"The one and only." Jubilee said with a grin "But I only did what I did because I had a great team, and you ladies look pretty awesome to me."

[Ria Larsen]

Ria grins. "Well, you were a pretty big inspiration to me when I was younger. I still have posters up in my parent's house."

"It's an honor to get to meet you."

[Jubilation Lee]

"And its nice to meet the team Cassiel has put together." Jubilee replied "I was reading your files and was very pleased."

[Ria Larsen]

"Really? I keep expecting to be too insubordinate."

[Michael Asters]

"You'd need to not complete your assignments to be insubordinate," Cassiel said as he walked in, the last report in hand. "Ladies, you're both early, thank you. Crossfire's going to be a while today, her training got extended an hour, so we're going to get a head start, I'll catch her up when she gets in."

[Ria Larsen]

"Alright, well, what's on the agenda?"

[Michael Asters]

"That's going to depend entirely on what you've found sorting through the data for me," he said. "Ria, you can go first. Anything you found, anything out of the ordinary."

[Ria Larsen]

"There's a lot of embezzlement or diversion of shipments among government contractors that supply chemical and biochemical agents. Mostly companies on the research or storage end. It's pretty well hidden, there are shortfalls all around with mixed up shipments, it looks like inefficiency, but if you track the data long term, the distribution of missed shipments is unequal. The Government always ends up shorted, not the corporations."

Ria hands Cassiel a thumb drive. "There's a spreadsheet with some charts showing the companies and embezzlement amounts in the base directory of that drive. The folder named Corruption has a series of nested folders that back up all the data with the numbers you gave us."

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel nodded, taking the data. "Excellent work," he said. "Jezabelle? What have you found?"

[Ria Larsen]

"It was a team effort, I couldn't have done it without Jezebelle and Crossfire."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Jezabelle nodded. "We thought that it was better to work together than tackle it alone. That way we could build on all the things each of us had found or compare to see if one of us had caught something another had missed."

"... were we not supposed to do that?"

[Jubilation Lee]

"On the contrary, its a good idea to have two pairs of eyes looking at things."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"Well, three pairs, at least." Jez said, not wanting to downplay Crossfire's contributions.

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel nodded his agreement. "So. Where does this leave us?" he asked, looking at his two proteges. "Any thoughts on how to proceed?"
