Ryan smirked. "Yeah, that one tends to blow up spectacularly after it gets found out. I tried it when my mom was hounding me about that a couple years ago. Went all right for a few weeks, but it kind of fell apart when someone found a picture of my supposed girlfriend and her girlfriend on the school's GLBT page."

"Yeah, well, I tried getting a girl who was straight to play the part, but she got weird pretty fast so I cut that one short. When I got back for Christmas break, I got laughed at a lot, and Stature told me that she'd play the part next time if I needed it, nudge nudge wink wink, the usual bit. Don't think her dad would be too fond of the idea, though. Thank god all he does is shrink."
