All Out Of Bubblegum

Postby Amazon » Thu Sep 15, 2011 2:00 pm

Amazon decided the best place to lay low would be closer to the edge of the city. She'd made most of the trek on foot, making sure to avoid the General's forces when she could. Finally she came home to roost on top of an old building with good sight lines to the surrounding buildings. There was a small greenhouse on the roof. A lot of the windows were broken out, but it was a decent enough shelter, especially after she ran out the squatters that were already there. She settled in and contemplated her next move.

((Parallel to And here we go!))

Amazon had been flying around the buildings, when the sounds of large scale violence drew her towards the hotel. Now she was a "safe" distance away, perched on a building and watching the show. She mentally ticked off the monetary cost as the hardware was destroyed and soldiers were killed. She even winced when Paladin ripped into the tank. But for now she was just content to watch.

When the buildings shook from Paladin's explosion, Amazon floated off of hers just to be safe. Catching sight of Bobby's brass shields as she got her bearings, she reoriented and bounced to another building to stay out of sight while she tried to assess this new third party.

Paladin wasn't paying a particularly large amount of attention to further threats as he first clambered onto the building then ran from rooftop to rooftop. His body armor looked like he'd wandered through a butcher's shop that had caught on fire as it was caked with blood, dust, and ash. He was watching the group as they moved into the alley he'd marked.

This armored figure was Paladin the revolutionary, defender of the people, this was the man who'd just brought both sides to a halt in a what amounted to a massacre. He certainly looked considerably more menacing than his posters.

Amazon tapped her temple as she considered her next move, deciding that keeping on eye on things was best for the moment. No profit at the moment to get involved in this. She moved to get a better view, unable to really keep a low profile, but doing her best anyway.
