Chthonia's Flat

Chthonia's flat was furnished in dark wood and darker stone. The walls were hung with rich sliks in shades of red and plum. In the corner of the living room....well, best not look at that. She was sitting on the sofa, talking gently to a plant that was sitting on the coffee table.

"I had a busy day today. Did you miss me while I was gone?"

At her words, a pod began to unravel itself, stretching out into a nude Legion, hanging from the plant by a cord coming out of where his belly button would be.

It stretched.

"So sweet." Isabel said, cradling the vegetable-lamb Legion on her palm.

Legion got on all fours in her palm, and started shaking the sleep off, as it were, careful not to tangle his cord up on her fingers as he stretched himself out, at times literally, in a not-yet-fully-firm body.

Legion arched his back, Chthonia's finger leaving a smooth path along his backside as it traveled down, and he purred.

Legion started trying to walk up Cthonia's arm, but was caught up by the cord.

"Careful." Chthonia said "You're not quite ripe yet. Whats this?" she added, noticing a bump on his hip.

It was rapidly expanding into a third leg, a female one, and a quite pleasant shade of light blue, if a bit clashy with his regular flesh tone.

Chthonia sighed "I suppose I"m going to have to prune you again." she said, picking up an exacto knife.

The leg started kicking in some self defense-type action, as it started growing at a much accelerated pace.

Chthonia neatly cut it off at the point where the leg left the hip.

"Shhhh" Chthonia said as she healed the spot where the leg had been removed "We want you to grow big and strong, and you can't do that if you have extra bits."

Legion sat down cross legged, bent unnaturally, and licked at the spot the leg had been cut from.

He looked up at Chtonia, and reached to try to boop her on the nose, but the vine held him back.

Legion charged the mouse...but was caught by the cord, again, and faceplanted.

Legion scrambled to his feet and approached the mouse again, cautioutly, sneaking up on all fours.

Then, with a sickening 'pop', his jaw stretched and stretched, lunging towards the mouse, and swallowing it, whole, headfirst.

Now, when I say 'swallowing it whole' that probably sounds like a snake or something--but the mouse, in this instance, was just as large as Legion, so it was more "encasing the still-living mouse in a Legion body-sack" more than anything, with the mouse's twitching causing ripples and shakes in a somewhat-mouse shaped Legion as it tried to get free.

Legion looked contented enough.
