Observation

Nailah was perched on a lion's head on the facade of the building across the street from a hotel. At least that's what it was to most people instead of a front for one of General Bowen's operations.

A slick-haired blonde man in shades and a black coat leaned over the edge of the roof above her.

"Well well, don't we have a pretty one here," Agent Croyden said with a snakelike smirk, "A shame really... espionage being such a serious offense..."

After being lead into the "hotel" and being informed that The General wasn't accepting visitors at the moment, they were instead instructed to speak with one of his trusted lieutenants.

They would eventually find their way into the office of a Richard Ferguson, codenamed 'Cyclone', judging by the name plaque on his desk.

"Yes, what is it?," asked a curt voice across the threshold.

Agent Croyden saluted. "Sir. I caught this one snooping around outside. Says she has something to tell the boss."

His eyes narrowed as he looked at the woman, then back over to Agent Croyden. "Very well. Leave her here with me." He gave the man a sort of nodding gesture, that looked meaningless enough but was code for staying just outside the door in case of trouble.

"But I'm sure there must be some other reason that you would presume to come and interrupt my schedule."

His eyebrows arched a bit, intrigued.

"Why didn't you say that to begin with?" He considered what she said for a beat before adding, "I won't insult your intelligence. What do you want in exchange for this information?"

He rose from his seat. "Escort Atropha out of my office, and find someplace suitable for her." He stepped closer to him and whispered, "Have one of our science personnel give her the once-over, just to be safe. And keep eye on her. Several, if you can."

He then backed away and his voice returned to normal volume. "I'll leave a memo for The General to receive once he returns. I'm sure he'll be interested in what you have to say."
