April 8th: On the mountainside

Postby Aiden Mitchell » Fri Oct 01, 2010 11:21 pm

Aiden was outside cigarette in hand. He was down to his last few, and now seemed as good a time as any to have one.

"We have reached the promised land," Aiden mused as he exhaled.

Aiden nodded and returned the pack to a pocket.

"Well my fellow Accolyte seems to be fulfilling your destiny for you," Aiden said with some disdain, "There is just something about this place that feels wrong, puts me on edge."

"Keep your eyes open," Aiden said, "It probably wont be as obvious as it was with that butcher."

"What I would not give to have a guitar right now or even a meal in the dining hall."

"As much as I don't like hoe the world is back home, we have it pretty good. Compared to here, at least."

Aiden nodded.

"Most things are better than genocide being perpetrated against our kind," Aiden said, "I wonder if we will actually make it back to our time."
