A shadowed, barely visible figure looked down at them from a broken keep.

"Well, here we are," Taliesin said, still looking like Sara, getting out of the car.

"Well now, we have us a qweer bit of skirt now don't we?" the form muttered quietly to himself in an Irish accent, grinning in the dark.

"Middle of bumfuck nowhere..." Robin adds as she climbs out of the car. Literally.

"Well, the castle is kinda cool..." Sara!Taliesin said.

The watchman was suddenly gone from his perch.

"Well now. Who might you folks be?" the voice asked from somewhere beside them.

"Old friends. Long time listeners, first time callers."

The voice belonged to a scruffy looking man who resembled a mythological Satyr, dressed in ratty military fatigues.

"More specific please. Gotta be sure ya aren't a bunch a bad eggs."

"We're old University classmates. Let us in."

"No but maybe you could go get what's his name? Vandal?"

"Riiight. Like that's going to happen. Though ya did find this place, so that's one point for ya."

"Well Faunus, there's one way to find out," said a telepathic female voice that all present could hear, followed by a mental pressure.

"They're telling the truth."

Faunus let down his guard as the gate opened. Slightly. "Come on in then. Vandal will want ta see ya."

Rob adjusts his hat, keeping silent.

Stephanie tensed visibly as she felt the mental pressure, growling slightly at the intrusion.

"Never gonna get used to that shit..." she grumbled. "Guess I shouldn't complain if we're getting where we need to..."
