To prepare for the inevitable departure in the quest to get the hell out of the future, the refugees from the past were to meet in the lounge after some time to clean up, eat, and in general prepare. Daniel flopped onto a couch, personally hoping that they were doing this without any of the future people that he didn't trust.

Unfortunatley, hopes were meant to be shattered, as Taliesin walked in next, nodding.
"Daniel."

Daniel nodded back. "Gwion."

"Taliesin," he corrected. "The one with serious self-control issues is Gwion."

"Oh, sorry," Daniel said, smirking. "I forgot that randomly shooting someone in the head wasn't a self-control issue," he added, leaning back in the couch.

"And which one of you is the bitter old lady?" Rob says as he walks in, "For reference."

"That'd be Victoria Valentine," Taliesin said, ignoring Daniel's quip.

"We'll have to let her know you said that when we see her," Daniel quipped.

"Okay, I really need to start putting labels on people," Rob says, sitting down and adjusting his hat, "It's hard enough remembering you all when time isn't bent in on itself."

The comm rig lit up with a beep.
"Breaker breaker. Dead End on the horizon."

Steph seemed to appear almost out of nowhere, sitting next to Daniel on the couch. She had apparently gotten very good at sneaking up on people. "Hey," she said quietly.

Melody walked in, and leaned against the wall, her arms crossed over her chest--conveniently covering the hand-shaped scorch mark there.

"Hello, all."
Stan entered, taking a seat near the front.
"Everyone rested?"

"Hey," he said as she sat down. "Hope there's no hard feelings that I didn't come find you last night," he added, very quietly. "I wasn't exactly in any shape to walk out of the room from what I'm starting to remember."

"It's fine," she said calmly. "I'm impressed that I said something like that to you...I'm not sure what I would have done if you had found me," she gave what could best be approximated as a smirk--it was hard to tell while she was shifted. "I don't...really talk with anyone here much...just nice seeing an old friend, I suppose."

"Don't know what I would've done if I'd found you," Daniel admitted, smirking. "Still, doubt we're heading home after just one night."

Stephanie looked at him curiously, "What the fuck are you talking about?"
She grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and wrapped herself with it, actually shifting to human form.

"Yeah, yeah," Daniel said, smirking. "So!" he said, raising his voice since just about everyone was there. "The plan so far is that we need to get to see that Valentine lady and... how did you say it? Tir a gog?" he asked, glancing at Rob. "Biggest problem, I guess, is that we don't know how to get there, right?"

"Ms. McDohl might be able to help us get to Victoria."

Will sat down, looking interested, and tried to keep track of options.
Taliesin, however, looked more dubious at the entire Victoria idea.

"We all need to get back to our time, whether through technology or magic. We hope Victoria would be able to help us with both options, or point us to where we should go."

"I understand." She says, her eyes shifting between the spiral and back to normal quickly. "I can take you there without a problem."
Anarchy just kept quiet, she looked a little down though.

"Remember this, though. No help the Cailleach ever gives you is free. There's ALWAYS a price. You're going to need to be prepared for that."

"Is she going to shoot one of us in the head or the shoulder? Not doing that would put her one up on your hospitality so far," Daniel mused.

"Cailleach did offer everyone of you safe passage and hospitality." She said matter of factly, her eyes switching once more.
