Reaper and Dead End's room

[Reaper]

Reaper was sitting on the bed, staring silently a the wall.

[Dead End]

There was a familiar crackle on the radio that was hanging on the bedpost.

[Reaper]

"Hey, beautiful." Reaper said.

[Dead End]

"Hey yourself, Love."

Reaper, would find the strong telepathic link following the voice, giving an aura of longing.

[Reaper]

"Does it hurt more or less than the first time we lost him?" Reaper asked "I can't decide."

[Dead End]

"All I could see, was from far off.. You were closer, next to him. I can pretend it wasn't him.."

The voice crackled, sighing and sad.

[Reaper]

"It was him." Reaper said "Him and what Nina did to him, but still him."

[Dead End]

"He.. he couldn't have wanted that. One more reason to get everyone back to the past, and wipe this abortion of a timeline out of existence..."

[Reaper]

"I doubt we'll be that lucky."

[Dead End]

"Even if it's all I want anymore?"

There was a depressed pause.

[Reaper]

"The girls we used to be will have a better life." Rachel replied "Thats something."

[Dead End]

There was a long pause, before the radio switched off.

[Reaper]

Reaper sat on the bed, weeping silently.

[Dead End]

"Hold me, will you?"

Bear entered through the door, obviously not being all that far away on the other end of the radio transmission.

[Reaper]

"Always." Reaper said, holding out her arms.

[Dead End]

"Promise me.. Once they go back, things will be better."

She hugged Reaper with all her might.

[Reaper]

"I promise." Reaper said, hoping that she wasn't lying.

[Dead End]

"I can't keep going.. I just want to rest. Just rest."

[Reaper]

"So do I, babe. Look on the bright side, our luck isn't going to last forever, then we get a nice long dirt nap."

[Dead End]

Bear nodded, thinking it was the most logical thought in a long, long while.

"Go out in a blaze of glory? You and me, back to back?"

[Reaper]

"We'd have to pick our target, make it really worth it."

[Dead End]

"Or just take out as many at once as we can. And between the two of us, that's a lot..."

[Reaper]

"Sounds good."

[Dead End]

Bear nodded, kissing her with a determined touch.
