The Rivera Show

Postby Narrator » Thu Jul 09, 2009 11:37 pm

Ryan, Kelly along with two other winged mutants and a wingless man in a dark suit were lead t the green room by one of the producers.

"Just make yourselves comfortable, gentlemen" she said with a broad smile "You'll be coming on stage in about ten minutes. If you want, you can watch the show as its being taped." she said, picking up a remote and flipping on the television that was in the corner.

"This is a fucking joke," Ryan muttered as she walked away. "Let's round up all the winged guys she can find. This doesn't look like she's reaching at all."

"Unfortunately, the damage caused by this sort of baseless accusation isn't a joke." The wingless man said sourly.

Ryan quirked an eyebrow, but then shook his head. "You're probably right. It's just the whole 'finding the girl' part that creates the problems. Or at least, finding one that's not going to cause lots of problems and drama."

Kelly just walked around nervously. Sweating all over as he wondered who this lady was that he spawned a little mutant with, or acused of at least. Not even paying attention to Ryan's new friend he just walked back and forth pondering what would happen.

I liked this better when I was just a guest...

A few minutes later the television screen came to life, and there was a sound of applause.

"Thank you for joining us today, America. Today, we're going to here from Caitlin. She was sure that her boyfriend Joey was the father of her baby, until the baby got wings, forcing her to reveal that she'd cheated."

Boooo! Boooo!

"First we're going to let Caitlin and Joey tell their story, and then we're going to meet the mutants who might be the father of little Zayden."

"Now Caitlin" the host continued "When Zayden was born, neither one of you doubted that he was Joey's baby. What happened to change that?"

"Nothing changed my mind!" Caitlin protested "I know that Zayden is Joey's baby. He looks just like him. A photo of a young toddler appeared on the screen behind her, next to a picture of Joey. Truthfully, the baby looked like a male version of Caitlin, and the crowd seemed unimpressed.

"But Joey started to have questions, correct? When did that happen?"

"Damn straight I had questions!" Joey shouted "The kid had wings. No way is it mine."

When Zayden started to get his teeth, he got these bumps on his back. Then, after awhile, his wings came out. Caitlin continued

"And how did you react to that, Joey?"

I knew that no way could that baby be mine. Joey shot back There ain't no muties in my family! Plus, Caitlin is always going to these parties in Mutant Town.

I go there for work! Caitlin protested

"And what kind of work do you do?" Jerry Rivera asked.

I'm a dancer. Caitlin replied

Tell the truth! You're a stripper! Joey shouted and then continued, I didn't used to mind her working in Mutant Town. I'm a live and let live kind of guy. Plus, mutant guys have a thing for our women, so they tip good.

Thats fucking bullshit! someone in the crowd called out, the crowd in general was getting restless, starting to smell blood.

"We'll have Caitlin finish telling her story, after the break." Jerry Rivera said, and they show cut to commercial

The show came back from commercial, and Caitlin started talking.

"I work at a club called Inferno, in Mutant Town. Around the same time that Joey got me pregnant with Zayden..."

"Don't lie, bitch!"

"Please, calme down, let her tell the story" Jerry said, putting a hand on Joey's shoulder.

"There was this party, for the end of one of Ryan Gabriel's tours. After my shift ended, I stayed around for the party, and one of the other girls gave me some 'L'. I..." Caitlin looked down, embarrassed "I cheated on Joey. I admit that....and I don't know who it was with. "

"Boo!" Boo!" "Slut!" "Cheating slut!" "Booo!" the crowd went wild.

"We want to help you with that, Caitlin. Our producers tracked down all of the winged mutants who were at the club that night, to see which one of them is little Zayden's father."

The producer came into the room "Ok, now its time for you guys to go out on stage."

As they headed out of the green room they would hear Jerry saying "And brought them here today. All of the possible fathers will make a statement, and then we'll reveal the results of the paternity test. But first, a brief message from our sponsor."

"And now, here are the potential fathers...and Archangel's lawyer." Jerry Rivera said, as they came on stage. Howls of laughter followed the last remark.

"You asshole! You got my girl pregnant!" Joey shouted, throwing himself at Ryan as soon as they stepped out.

Ryan rolled his eyes, catching the guy's arm and pushing him to the floor of the stage with his arm twisted behind his back. he held him there, putting pressure on it to keep the guy from moving, asking "You done yet?" every few seconds until the guy gave up.

The crowd applauded as Ryan took Joey down.

"This isn't over, asshole." Joey said as he was lead to a chair at the other end of the stage.

"Hi Ryan! Hi Raven! Heya Marco! Kelly!" Caitlin squealed as the potential fathers sat down "Good to see you."

"Uh, nice to see you." the Goth boy said awkwardly as they sat down.

"You know all of these guys?" Jerry asked her.

"I do." Caitlin said, giving a little wink "From work."

"Can any of you gentlemen elaborate on your relationship with Caitlin, and tell us more about the night in question?" Jerry asked, giving Ryan a pointed look.

"Yeah, you seemed so concerned about her a minute ago," Ryan scoffed as he pushed Joey back toward his chair.

Since he was evidently up first, Ryan shrugged. "Well, it's been a while, but I remember the party. It was at a club in Mutant Town. We were all there... I mean, I remember Kelly was there," he said, nodding to Kelly, "And I think I remember this guy, too," he added, indicating the goth kid. "Anyway. Around the end of the party, Cat over there corners me in the back of the club and jumps me, starts kissing me. I... wasn't exactly opposed to the idea," Ryan admitted, smiling reluctantly. "But that was pretty well the end of it. I noticed that she was strung out on something, and that... kind of killed the mood for me. I made an excuse, got myself disentangled, and found some of my friends from school that were on the other side of the club."

"I was at the party too." Raven replied "I...after Ryan brushed her off, we...kinda messed around a little...but nothing that could have gotten her pregnant."

"Asshole! It was you!" Joey yelled and struggled to get up from his seat, but was restrained by the security guards.

"I was at the party too." Marco, the one with the parrot wings said, once the fuss had died down "But I didn't touch her ho-ish ass. My boyfriend would kill me."

"Who are you calling a 'ho'?" Caitlin said, glaring at Marco

"I'm calling you a 'ho', bitch."

"No one calls my girl a 'ho." Joey shouted, and was restrained by security again.

"Calm down, calm down." Jerry pleaded. "Does Archangel have any comment?" he asked James Martinez.

"Yes. Mr. Worthington is sympathizes with the young lady, and her situation. However, he was only at the party briefly, to congratulate Mr. Gabriel on his successful cross country flight, and left before the party was in full swing. He didn't even see the girl, let alone have intercourse with her."
