Feb 11 - Capital Building

[Julia White]

With Andre in tow Crossfire shows up at Cassiel's office.

[Andre Jacquard]

Andre looked around the room outside the office as they approach.

"Nice decor."

I liked the other drapes better.

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel, as he was known to do these days, was still working. "Enter!" he called out without stopping poring over the data he had.

[Julia White]

"Hey Big Boss. This is the guy I told you about." she says, jerking her head at Andre before holding out the sketch of Ria and Jez to Cassiel.

[Michael Asters]

He looked up at her, then at the sketch, then at the two of them. "You do realize that espionage is looked upon rather... harshly, don't you Mr...?" he asked, leaving the sentence hanging as he waited for Andre's name.

[Andre Jacquard]

"Andre Jacquard, at your service Lord Cassiel," he answered with a bow.

"And it's... not espionage... sir... umm... I just sometimes sketch what I dream. It's usually half right at best..."

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel studied the boy hard, then looked over at Crossfire. "How much does he know? Correctly know?"

[Julia White]

"That we've been looking into Tesso. And that I kicked-- I mean that I apprehended two looters during the chaos. Although he got some of the details wrong." she says with a sharp look at Andre.

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel frowned, considering this. Then he addressed Andre. "If a word of this gets breathed to a soul outside this office, I will personally throw you so deep into the capital jail that they'll need two terra-movers and a backhoe to get you out. Do I make myself clear?"

[Andre Jacquard]

"Crystal, sir."

[Michael Asters]

He nodded, frowning slightly. "How does your power work?"

[Andre Jacquard]

"I'll assume you mean the new one that makes me feel like I'm losing my mind..."

"Honestly I have no idea. I've always dreamed of weird patterns and things that never made a lick of sense, so it was always passed off as an anomaly. But lately... images have been crawling out of them, like I'm experiencing someone else's life through their eyes... only they are me, but also not me. Around the time of that Doctor Tomorrow business in London... they started getting so strong that for a short time after waking I get lost in that other me..."

"It's all a bit terrifying to be honest. I'm afraid to fall asleep."

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel nodded, thinking hard about it. "All right. Crossfire, I want you to include him in the investigations. I want you at once to take into consideration what he might know, and to not put too much stock in it for its inaccuracies."

"And I want you to keep an eye on him. I don't think I need to tell you just how much trouble we're all in if this goes public."

[Julia White]

"Got it." she says, although she's wearing a 'Seriously?' expression on her face.

[Michael Asters]

"What he sees might be useful. Stranger things have happened. Running loose, though, just with what he's shown that he knows, he could definitely be dangerous though. We need to make sure he's where he can be watched."

[Andre Jacquard]

"Proud to be aboard," he grinned, bowing slightly. "The codename is Loom, by the way."

"...or was it Tapestry..."

[Julia White]
