Power: Charlie is a plant based biopath, capable of manipulating plant dna. With it he can make monsterous, mutated plants, and armor made out of plant matter, and can accelerate the growth of plants. Charlie has learned to control his plant monsters, and has learned to adapt his plant armor to just about any situation. The armor is still limited by his body, since it drains nutrients from it. He has learned to offset this limmitation by making his armor outdoors and drawing nutrients from the ground, but excessive changes to it while fighting take a serious toll on him.
Personality: After his time in jail, as well as a few unfortunate life experiences upon being released, Charlie is a very self-serving and self-sufficient man. He maintains his fierce loyalty to the people he does view as a friend but unfortunately he currently has no one he regards as a true friend, even his former associates at the Xavier institute.
Description: Charlie's signature eye scar has been altered a little due to his more recent affairs. It now resembles an X. Other then that, he still keeps his spiky red hair, but dresses more casually then before. He does frequently still wear fedoras
Background: Charlie's childhood was a rough one, but it only got rougher from there. After an unfortunate incident while attending Xavier's institute, he was incarcerated. While in jail, he got his G.E.D. and continued producing fine works of art. After his release, he began a career as an artist and flourished. While he was producing artwork, he spent most of his time with some fellow mutant artists.
He discovered that his friends were working for the brotherhood and, after a brief verbal confrontation, ended up in a full-blown fight giving him the new scar on his eye. He was contacted by the government to help bring them down, but after they accomplished that task the group who approached him for help accused Charlie of being a brotherhood member himself due to some of the artwork he made.
He escaped from them and fled the country, but a good deal of damage had been done. The government froze his assets, forcing Charlie to find some contacts to help clear his name and a way to continue producing artwork. He approached XLU as a student in hopes of furthering his education and getting access to their art facilities to continue producing work. He even offered to TA as well.
Despite wanting to clear his name, he also knows that money is needed in today’s world in order to survive. He's been making a bit of money through less then legal means, but has yet to be identified or caught by authorities.
