The famous Charles Xavier is getting old, but his mind is still sharp as ever. His mental abilities have, if anything, improved with age, though he can no longer count on his body supporting him through a major telepathic effort.

Charles Xavier is the President of the University, involving himself mostly in the financial and administrative aspects of the school, though he does meet with the heads of the various departments to discuss the state of the school, curricula, etc.

He no longer holds classes, but will sometimes give a guest lecture, or mentor a particularly standout telepathic student. Though he is often seen lamenting his distance from the student body, he simply no longer has the energy to keep a 16 hour a day packed schedule.
