Brigid came back into the common room in a foul mood, flopping down on the couch.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!" She ranted, letting a poor throw-pillow have what-for.

As she ranted, there were steps coming down the stairs into the common room, and the ever-shirtless RA emerged, looking around, finally settling on Brigid. "Is something wrong? My sharks are getting rather agitated from the commotion," he said.

"They're rather sensitive to disturbances, of course. They were trained to be able to sense when there was an agitation and go on alert, they're quite good at it."

The fact that these were sharks didn't seem to register to her as strange.

"Oh, they aren't big. Rather small, really," he said, holding his hands to indicate about foot and a half long. "And I may have played on cultural differences to frustrate them into not arguing the point when I asked to be allowed to keep fish in my room," he added, with a casually faked innocence.

He considered it. "Well, not a bad reaction. It's indignant, yes, but you didn't break him, nor did you offend him so much that he actually wishes to harm you. It isn't outside the realm of constructive interaction, I would judge. Mostly based on assumptions, granted, but the general idea is sound."

"Perhaps you were crazy, perhaps you were not, but words that are shouted during conflict cannot be taken as an accurate assessment of your character."

He shrugged. "It comes down to the person he is. Does he seem like one who would feel the need to be better than all of those around him? If he is not... then I do not see how it would be a problem in the end."

"Everyone does," he said. "One who says that they do not care about it likely has some other area which can put them above others, or they simply have not had to deal with those who are superior to them in an area that they value." He shrugged. "It's difficult to judge without knowing all that happened, or knowing who was in question."
