Archer's - A Pub and Restaurant

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan laughed. "And while the big robot lizard was fighting the giant moth, the brownie stole my supper."

[Patrick Fitzroy]

Behind the waitress a form emerges from the air.
Fitzroy taps her on the shoulder.
"That's for me" he says

[Narrator]

The waitress screams and drops the phone.

[Anita Fernandez]

"Exactly!" Anita finishes her meal. "Do ya mind if we go by your room? I didn't really get ta see it when..." Anita turns, ready to fight.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan was, similarly, ready to jump from his seat, a golden glow around his fist.

[Patrick Fitzroy]

"T-t-take it easy. Just a phone call."

[Narrator]

The waitress shakes her head. "Sorry, I didn't see you come up behind me." She hands Patrick the phone and heads back to her duties.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita breathes a sigh, and sits back down since it looks like it was a false alarm. "Man, people shouldn't scream like that."

[Patrick Fitzroy]

Fitzroy hangs up the phone and takes a seat near the others. Nodding at them a little self-conciously. He has seen them around the school.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan sighed, relaxing a little back into his seat. "Anyway. Yeah, we can. Nothing special about my room. I'm kind of wishing I'd gotten put in Proudstar, to be ho- um... hi," he said, blinking as the random person suddenly sat down with them.

[Anita Fernandez]

"Hi there."

[Patrick Fitzroy]

Sitting at the nearest empty table, Fitzroy seems startled that anyone would even speak to him.
"Hi" he manages back weakly.

[Ryan Gabriel]

With that, Ryan turned his attention back to Anita. "So I never got a chance to ask. You said you've been dancing since you were little. Did you take lessons? What kind?"

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita smiles at Patrick, and then turns back to Ryan.

"Ballet. I've taken some swing and ballroom an' other stuff too, but most of my training has been in ballet. It's suprisin'ly helpful when you're fighting, actually."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I'd believe it. That's how I learned to stop being a klutz with wings once they sprouted," Ryan said. "So if I find someplace other than a club to go dancing, would you like that?"

[Anita Fernandez]

"Heck yeah. I haven't been dancin' anywhere except a club in a long time."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Good," Ryan said with a grin as he scraped the last bits of his food from the plate. "Anything I should avoid?"

[Patrick Fitzroy]

Fitzroy orders and waits quietly.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita shrugs. "I don't think so. Dancin' is always a good time."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"That depends entirely on the company," Ryan said. "Btu in this case, yes, it definitely will be," he added, smiling.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita smiles. "How'd you get ta be such a charmer anyway?"

[Patrick Fitzroy]

When the food arrives, Fitzroy eats like someone who's just spent time in prison, without care for such things as table manners or coming up for breath.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan smiled at her. "Simple. I just place myself in extremely good company, and make a point of being very openly honest."

He did his best to not look at the next table as Fitzroy started to eat.

[Patrick Fitzroy]

Fitzroy looks up as he finishes eating and burps softly.
"Excuse me" he says.
The next time the waitress wanders past he stops her to order 3 desserts.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita grimices. "Hey, do you wanna head over ta the school? I still wanna see your room."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Yeah, I was just about to ask if you were ready," he said. This time, Ryan paid cash so that they could leave more quickly, then held the keys to the bike up tantalizingly in front of Anita as they walked. "It's up to you..."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita smiles. "Naw, it's still light. Thanks though. I only like drivin' if I can be a complete menace ta the road."

She puts an arm around Ryan's waist and heads out to the bike.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan palmed the keys and put an arm (and wing) around Anita, too, as they left the restaurant.

((Aaaaaaand back to the dorms))

[Patrick Fitzroy]

Fitzroy enjoys his desserts, wipes his mouth with the napkin, and then curses himself softly for one more botched attempt at human interaction. He pays his waitress too much money, and leaves the restaurant.
