Ghosts of Time.

Morgan sat in the common room by the window, her head filled with strange thoughts that she couldn't quite place, her knees pulled up to her chest and her face turned to the sunshine, eyes closed.

Winston walked in heading for the couch, but stopped when he noticed Morgan. He glanced around slowly before glumly edging over towards her, stopping within a meter, from where he followed what he presumed to be her gaze.

Finding nothing but blaring sunlight, Winston frowned and focused his attention on the figure curled up before him. He was tempted to leave but the word struggled out of his mouth despite his own wishes otherwise.

"Hey."

Morgan stiffened at the sound of Winston's voice, though she knew that he would never come close to hurting her again. She didn't raise her eyes to him but when she replied her voice was cold.

"Winston. How have you been?"

Tell me how you aren't pathetic, killing yourself is the weakest thing you could do. Be thankful you didn't succeed.

You said you were weary of what the world had to offer, I was weary of my role in the world, but now I have a new one and yes, I am thankful I didn't succeed. It's not pathetic if it's the preferable option, which at the time, honestly, it was.

I am weary of what it has to offer so I am going to force its hand. I am not going to calmly accept the fate it wants to bestow upon me - if hiding is the preferrable option then you are more weak then I imagined.

Still grinning, Winston charged the palm of his hand as he clamped it upon her shoulder, the sparks it generated hidden from view, though Morgan would certainly feel its increasing warmth.

I'm not looking for anyone Winston pulled his hand away.

I wanted to make sure noone would interupt. Winstons hand returned to Morgans face as he slapped her with the back of it, hard enough to leave a mark but not hard enough to bruise, Now... Do it.
