Inspired by the better-than-usual weather for London in this time of year, Will decides to spend some of it lounging on the quad, bringing out his guitar just for kicks.
Playing and singing to himself, any passersby can tell that while Will has a very good singing voice, his guitar playing leaves a little something to be desired, as he has trouble with the chord changes.

Constantine, walking across the quad carrying what was obviously a guitar hardcase, deviated his course to bring him past Will, obviously listening to his fellow student.

Will stops for a moment, having reached something relatively approaching an end, when he sees Constantine approaching.
"Hey there, Con, what's happening?"

"I thought I heard someone strangling a guitar." Con replied, setting the case down.

"Hah! This? Yeah, I'm really more of a singer than I am a guitar-player. Have to accompany myself on something though, right? And I can't exactly drag a piano out here..."
Noticing Con's case, he adds "You play?"

"Mostly gothic and thrash. And the classics of course. May I?"

"Sure, take it." Will says, handing it over.

Putting one foot up on the bench to give something to rest the guitar on, Con plucked at it to get a feel for the tuning.
"Know this one?" he asked, as he started to
play

Will grins as Con picks through the opening riff. "No, because I do, in fact, live under a rock."
Will joins in singing as they hit the medley. "There is a house in Nyawlins..."

They caa-aall the riii-sing sun.
Con didn't intrude on Will's singing, happy to just play while Will sang.

When they get to the organ solo, Will skats out a quick line.
"...And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy, and God, I know, I'm oooonnnnne."
They finish with a flourish of guitar from Con.
"Hey, you're pretty damn good!"

Con smirked. "I know. I don't play accoustic much though."
Handing the guitar back he added "And you sing a lot better than you play."

"Well, I'd pretty much have to," Will says as he takes back his guitar.
"At some point, I'll have to show you what I can do on the ivories, and you can show me what you do with something a little more electric."

"I can do that now." Con replied, opening up the case to reveal a portable amp along with the guitar.

Con pulled out the guitar, settling the strap over his shoulder. Hooking it up to the amp, he powered it up and ripped into
Buck's Boogie

Will listens as Con handles the BOC quite adeptly.
"Very impressive, sir."

"Thanks." Con replied, acknowledging the compliment. "I'd need my full rig for anything heavier, but I'm looking into getting a gig going at the XUB if you'e interested in coming along."

"Hey, sounds interesting, at the very least. They allow people to do gigs down there? I thought they'd be too small..."

"There's a stage in XUB Two, it's a lot bigger than the others."
