Issue 1 Downtime

Anita shows up at Ryan's room just after noon, wearing jeans, boots, and a red cotton blouse, short sleeved. She's wearing her hair in a braid and has her cowboy hat on.

She knocks, and reflexively checks the interior of the room to see if Ryan and/or anyone else is in there.

Ryan was sitting on his couch, dressed in jeans and boots as well, with a blue button-up shirt hanging loose over a tight grey t-shirt. "I was starting to wonder if you were going to show up," he said with a grin, standing up.

Anita sticks her tongue out. "I hurried ta get here. So where are we goin'?"

"Out of town," Ryan said, smirking at her. "Aside from that? You'll see when we get there."

Anita bounces. "But tell me somethin'! Why do I hafta wear jeans?"

"Because that's what they told me that we should wear," he answered, chuckling. He picked up his keys and his jacket.

"I'll get ya for this, Ryan!" Anita follows along, smiling.

"Oh please. You're loving this, and you'll love it more once we get there," Ryan chuckled as they took the stairs down to the garage. His bike, as usual, was squeezed into a non-parking space area.

Anita puts on the helmet and such, hops on the bike after Ryan is set to go.

And, without further ado, they go.

Anita returns from her date with Ryan, happily walking arm in arm with him. Once Ryan has the door open, she steps in, and blinks. "Oh wow, I had no idea you kept such a clean room."

Ryan's room is SPOTLESS. Everything shines from being freshly scrubbed, all clothes are put away, any laundry that was in a hamper is done and back in the drawers, nothing is out of place or laying about at all.

Ryan's room, while most undeniably a boy's dorm, was usually remarkably neat. His bed was made (possibly because unless he had company in it with him, he never unmade it), and the curtain he'd put up to separate his sleeping area from the rest of the dorm was pulled back. He had several framed pictures on his dresser and a few on the wall over his desk, along with several rock and punk band posters that surrounded his stereo.

Right now, though, it was above and beyond what it had been when he left. He hadn't dusted, and he knew that there had been a few things at least out on the desk. The more he looked, the more he saw things that had been straightened.

He looked around, a bit confused. "I don't," he said. "Not this clean, at least..."

Anita leans down. "Oh my god, you clean the grout under the desk? Are you sure you're a boy?" She turns to look at him and grins.

Ryan snorted. "No, I don't, and yes, I am. Another accusation like that and I'll feel the need to prove it beyond a doubt," he said, but was too confused to put his usual tease into the statement. "I mean... seriously, what the hell happened in here? They don't randomly deep clean all the rooms, do they?"

Anita laughs. "Um, no. Maybe your roomie downloaded some kind of super-maid program?"

Ryan frowned. It was possible. But...

He blinked. No, that couldn't be it, but... "Wait... I gave the little guy food at the pub. And now my room's spotless."

"Oooh, you got a brownie-maid! Nice."

"This is... kind of creepy, actually," Ryan said, chuckling. "Still... kind of cool at the same time. Guess I'll have to start leaving food out for him. Or her. Or whatever they are."

Anita leans up and whispers in Ryan's ear. "Want to get your nice clean room all dirty?"

Ryan caught her eyes, a wicked grin crossing his face. In answer, he tugged the cord he'd tied the curtain back with so that it fell shut.

Anita smiles, and starts unbuttoning her blouse. "I still don't wanna go all the way but I think I can think of somethin' you'll really like..."

Ryan grinned and started peeling his own shirt off. "I'm sure we can think of lots of things we'd like," he answered.

Some time later, Anita was snuggled up to Ryan in his bed, in just her panties again. "Mmmm, you smell so good."

Ryan idly ran his fingers down her back as they relaxed. "And you smell great, you look great, you feel great..." He smirked and turned his head, licking her cheek playfully. "Yep, taste great, too."

Anita giggles and squirms. "When do you expect your roomie back? I'm checkin' the hallway, but just curious."

Ryan shrugged. "Not for a while. Beside... that's what the curtain's for. So don't worry, your modesty can remain preserved. Except from me," he teased.

"Mmm, you still haven't seen me naked yet." Anita grins and kisses Ryan's neck.

"Yes, this is true. As far as my eyes have seen, you're still the picture of modesty and restraint," he teased, brushing his knuckles up her stomach as he rolled to face her.

Anita whispers. "Soon." She kisses Ryan gently, pressing against him and closing her eyes.

When the kiss finally ends. she smiles. "Mmm. Okay, I'm gonna go shower. Do you know where we're meetin' for the club thing?"

Ryan thought about it. "Really not sure," he admitted. "But how about I find out and come get you when it's time?"

"I'm all yours." She kisses Ryan, and gets up, pulling her clothes back on. "See you soon."

Ryan gave her a playful (but not hard) swat on the rear as she got dressed. "I suppose I should start looking to see where my goth-looking club gear went. Think I have time to dye my feathers black?"

"Hey!" Anita giggles when her rear is smacked. "If ya want black feathers, I think yer gonna need ta find someone who can change stuff on ya. But you could go in all white. That's a goth thing too, right?"

Ryan smirked. "I think that's anti-goth. But I think I can make the feathers work, anyway."

"Plus, the dye would take a few days to get out," he added, shrugging.

"See you soon, whatever you're wearin'. I'm kinda partial to the look ya got right now." She strokes Ryan's bare chest, kisses him, and then flounces off to get showered and changed.

"Damn," Ryan sighed when he was alone. "Tonight can't come fast enough."

"Your place or mine?" Rachel asked, nipping at Ryan's ear as she spoke.

"I know where my roommate is," Ryan smirked. "Do you?" He didn't wait for an answer, but unlocked the door to his dorm and let her in.

"Good point." Rachel said, shutting the door behind them.

The door shutting was the trigger. Ryan turned on the spot and kissed her, hard.
