John took a stroll as he enjoyed the darkening sky. He watched the still-emerging starlight with a smile.

From around the edge of one of the buildings, a large shadow stepped out into the path in front of John. It turned to look at him with glowing red eyes, regarding the boy silently for a moment.

He eyed the dark form slowly.

"Oh for the love of... not another one..."

He took a defensive posture.

The humongous dog bent it's head down at the sign of aggression from John. A deep rumbling growl warned John away from the beast.

He loosened up when he realized he may be provoking it. He didn't run either.

After a moment it seemed to relax. Though it remained where it was. Watching John.

Fen continues to just sit there at attention. Watching John. He doesn't seem aggressive but he seems to not be willing to let John pass by.
