Sept 22 - It's all around you, yet so far away...

"I know that it is, and I know that you would, but I still don't like the idea, ok? It's not like I'd stop you if that was the mission, but I wouldn't have to like it."

[Rachel O'Brien]

Rachel nodded, a bit mollified "I know what you mean." she said, sighing "I'm not happy when anyone I like is out on a mission."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan nodded. "Okay, we're getting too down too fast. This is a job for pizza and movies, I think. And beer, possibly."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"No argument there." Rachel said, with a ghost of a smile 'And no vampire movies, either. Agreed?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Damn straight. You pick the movie this time, I'll order the pizza. Requests?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Sausage, mushroom and black olive is a favorite, but I'm easy." Rachel replied with a little smile.

Ryan made a 'huh' face at that. "Never tried black olives, but the other two sound good. Worth giving a try. Your place?"

"Sounds good." Rachel replied, standing and holding out a hand to help Ryan up.

Ryan had to pull off of her a little more than usual, but not a whole lot, as he stood up. He started to cock his wings, then seemed to remember. "Ah. And... I suppose this time I'll just walk back to my room."

"Walking is good for you." Rachel said, smirking at him.
