Oct 10: Pool, pool, pool

[Juma Ngomo]

"...I'm afraid you've lost me there. Do you need me to walk you back to the sauna?"

[Sara McDohl]

The girl looks frustrated with herself, looks up to the nice man infront of her. "...rry...Tha....ou.." comes out of her mouth as she starts to run back to the sauna.. After a few feet the girl slips on some water and crashes back into the pool. "Great job you klutz..."

[Juma Ngomo]

"Be careful, it is slipp.." He blinks, then smoothly re-enters the water. If Sara is struggling he helps guide her back to the edge of the pool. His skin is rough, the texture of sandpaper, if rubbed the wrong way.

[Sara McDohl]

After being touched by the young man, she completely freezes up once again, barely able to keep her breathing up. "What are you doing! He is helping you, you twit!" She yelled at herself.

[Juma Ngomo]

His touch is confident and stays away from sensitive areas as much as possible, and once she has a grip on the edge of the pool (if not on herself) he breaks contact. "Running on the pool edge is not a very good idea. Count yourself lucky you did not hit your head."

[Sara McDohl]

She blunk for a moment, her head spinning, she lets out a soft sound before passing out. His touch had triggered something within her mind, that she could not handle..

[Juma Ngomo]

His eyes go wide and he yells out quickly, "Help!" Sara dunks under the water briefly before he closes the gap and gets an arm under Sara's armpits. He's had enough lifesaving training to be able to get first himself, then her out of the water and he sets her down on her back. With fast yet controlled motions he checks on her breathing and pulse.

She was breathing fine, just passed out.

[Juma Ngomo]

He relaxes a little but continues to follow the standard lifesaving steps, the next of which are to rouse the victim. The 'pinch and shout' technique is still a reliable standby, so he pinches Sara's neck near the shoulder, at a nerve cluster, and raises his voice, "Hey! Are you okay?!"

[Sara McDohl]

Her eyes winced a few times, but she was still out..he could tell she was seeing something...but obviously not what.

[Juma Ngomo]

He growls in frustration just as an actual lifeguard makes it to the scene to help out. As Sara is breathing and doesn't seem to be convulsing or having any kind of obvious seizure, the two wait it out for a few moments to see if Sara will regain consciousness on her own.

[Sara McDohl]

Her eyes stop twitching, and begin to open. "Wh-Where am I...?" She said quietly before realizing that the boy is still there...

[Juma Ngomo]

"The pool in Xavier's University. You took a bit of a spill into the water and blacked out." Concern is evident on his face as he crouches nearby.

[Sara McDohl]

"I...I can not remember why...." She says before realizing who is there... "I...I...I..." Her eyes go wide once again.

[Juma Ngomo]

"You slipped because you were running on a wet surface. I am not certain why you chose to run. Does your head hurt?"

[Sara McDohl]

She shook her head quickly. "F-...fo...get.......it..." The girl sat up and rubbed her head for a moment.

[Juma Ngomo]

"Very well." He tilts his head and stays crouched, setting Sara's glasses on the tile next to her. "Don't forget those again."

[Sara McDohl]

"T....nk....you..." She whispers out, picking up her glasses and resting them on her nose once again.

[Juma Ngomo]

"You are welcome. Do you need help standing?"

[Sara McDohl]

She shook her head lightly. Her body slowly moved and stood back up.. The girls face was still beat red from the entire experience.

[Juma Ngomo]

"You look a little flushed. You might want to skip the sauna, it tends to make people light-headed." He smoothly rises, long limbs straightening as he attains his full height.

[Sara McDohl]

"Fr...nd.....S...una..." Her words still very unclear, but she waves to the man and the lifeguard...then moves back towards the sauna..

[Juma Ngomo]

Juma has seen more than his fair share of odd behaviour around other mutants so he is not terribly worried. He accepts Sara's decision without objection, offering a small wave to the girl. So long as she makes it to the sauna without falling over again, he simply shrugs and returns to his swim.

[Sara McDohl]

The girl finally made her way back to her friend Willow in one piece. She was unsure how long she was really gone, but didn't want to keep her waiting.

[Will Stanton]

"You ok, Sara?" Willow asked.

[Sara McDohl]

"I-..I think so..? I was going to get my glasses...and that guy had found them...something happened...and I remember waking up on the floor..." She tell the other girl.

[Will Stanton]

"Are you alright?" Willow asked, hurrying over to her friend's side, and giving her a hug. "I should have came with you..."

[Sara McDohl]

"Yeah...he took care of me and tried to wake me up...then I started to wig out because I realized who he was...and came back here..." She hugged back.

[Will Stanton]

"Oh, you poor dear...here, let's lie you down," she said, carrying Sara over to a bench and lying her out.

"Men are that scary, huh?"

[Sara McDohl]

"I do not know what it is, Willow..., I just can not talk to them...I managed to get out a few syllables, and he thankfully, managed to understand me...but I can not do it.." She laid there on the bench, looking up at the ceiling.

[Will Stanton]

"You poor dear," Willow said, lying down next to her. "You need a saftey guy. One you can practice talking to. Is there ANY male you've had success with?"

[Sara McDohl]

"You...but I can't tell you that right now...", she told herself. "As of yet...no. My father was very protective of me when I was younger...I did not have any boy friends, but I was not even able to talk to my own brother..."

[Will Stanton]

"Not even family?" Willow said, aghast. "Oh, you poor baby!" she said, giving her another hug.

"Why on Earth are you HERE, then, and not at a women's college?"

[Sara McDohl]

"Well, I was home schooled by my mother throughout my high school career...and I have always admired her for being a teacher...I wanted to follow in her footsteps. I took online courses at my hometown's community college, but that was only basics...and I need to break this." She said sadly.

[Will Stanton]

"Is there anything I can do? I could, like, try to sneak you around guys or something..."

[Sara McDohl]

"I am not sure...if you could currently..." She mumbled out.

[Will Stanton]

"Well, let me know," she smiled. "That's what friends are for!"

[Sara McDohl]

"Yeah...friends..." "Too bad you'll probably never want to speak to me again if you found out the truth to this friendship...", she thought to herself. "Well it has been a very fun day, Ms. Willow..I think I am going to go study for a bit.." She stated, picking up her things and walking to the door. She turned and waved to her 'friend', before exiting...
