Sept 22nd-Danger Room, Briefing for Teams 4 and 6.

[Simon Kipling]

Simon couldn't help but grin. "Well unlike some I'm not a ray of sunshine, so I have to compensate some other way."

[Juma Ngomo]

Juma spends some of the intervening time getting a bit to eat and is back early. He hasn't geared up any more, but his features do have a noticeable feline cast to them as he starts drawing on some of his own power.

[Calvin Strong]

An hour later, Cal returned, his uniform on, and his new sidearms holstered. "Everyone ready?"

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear nodded in Calvin's direction with a smile.

"Nice hardware, Cyberman."

[Juma Ngomo]

"I am as ready as I am going to be. I think picking up gear will just slow me down, my instincts do not mesh well with most tools."

[Calvin Strong]

"Whatever works for you," Cal said. "Yeah, nice, aren't they?" he added, grinning at Bear as he pulled one of the guns (not charged, safeties engaged) from the holster and taking another look at it. "Today's lesson is that Binary makes better hardware than SHIELD. Poor suckers."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear grinned and nodded, patting her satchel.

"She's helped me out a bit.. a lot, actually!"

[Marcus Kingston]

Marcus walked back in and ready to go. He listened to the others and wondered if he should talk to Binary about somethings Rick suggested to him a long time ago. He kinda felt he needed something stronger than his bo staff he normally had.

"Hm.."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear walked up to Marcus, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"You look like you are coveting something."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Oh. Uh. I'm just thinking I should probably have more stuff than what I normally carry. Probably something bladed. Rick suggested a long time ago, carrying like miniture weapons that I could use my power on to grow to normal size or bigger. Pretty sneaky and could carry a variety. I may ask Binary about it."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear gets a sparkle in her eyes, smiling.

"That.. would be awesome!! Maybe even a toolkit, filled with stuff for any situation.. you could be the team techie!"

[Marcus Kingston]

He laughed. "I'd take that role but I really don't know that much about tech-ish stuff. I think I will ask her Binary though. Maybe before next mission. You're pretty good at making stuff to throw. Maybe you could lend me some of your stuff."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal considered what he heard Marcus saying. "Wouldn't it dull the edge of a blade if you increased its size?" he asked.

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear patted her satchel, smiling back.

"My bag is your bag."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Cool. If you have any really solid throwing stuff that's probably better for me."

He thought about what Cal asked. "Actually, you're probably right. Blunt items for me it is then. Maybe I need to carry like a hammer and turn it into a mace..or super size a sledge hammer."

[Byrna Cooper]

"You'll be great, Amp! After the mission, we'll go over a few things you can keep close."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Sweet. I could probably use the help Bear. You'll come up with some better ideas than I could. I'm pretty good with a lot of weapons." He thought for a second. "You know, what kind of things do you throw anyway? I could probably super size most of it."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear happily opened up her bag, showing Marcus the interior:

-Metal balls: solid, good for penetration
-Sticky balls: quick acting, gooey adhesive. Immobilizes
-Pop balls: muted explosive, good for concussive disabling, distractions
-Flash balls: phosphorus-based flare, very bright, good for signaling or blinding temporarily
-Pepper balls: a potent mixture of pepper and garlic gas, incapacitates and stings and is generally unpleasant.
-Spy balls: Able to adhere to surfaces, they deploy a wide range of sensors, Allowing Bear to observe from a safe distance. Built by Binary.
-Grapple balls: trails a long zipline when thrown, allowing Bear to take to the air, swinging and scaling hish surfaces. Built by Talos.
-Bear also carries a few regular baseballs, as well as solid balls composed of different materials, mostly in an attempt to fight the vampires encountered in London.

[Marcus Kingston]

He smirked as he looked threw the bag. "Man! You have a lot in here." He took out a baseball and some of the solid metal ones. "Oh. I could make these work no problem." He looked around some more. "What are those?" He asked, pointing to the pepper ones.

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear smiled.

"Pepper and garlic bombs. I made them back before we found out garlic doesn't really affect the Vamps any more than normal- They still pack a punch, though."

[Marcus Kingston]

"I can still see that screwing with people regardless." He said with a nod. He gave the another look through then put the items back. "Sweet. I'll try some of this stuff myself."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear smiled.

"Help yourself. Do you need something to hold them?"

[Marcus Kingston]

"Yeah. Probably. I may figure out some other things I could throw too. Jayda has a ton of knives I think..so I could probably ask her for something too."

[Byrna Cooper]

"Okay, then.."

Bear kneeled down, taking out a collapsible long and narrow leather pouch that was designed to attach to the standard team uniform. Zipping it in place, she took the balls Marcus had selected, and slid them in like a tennis ball canister.

"Ready to go, Amp!"

[Marcus Kingston]

"That's pretty resourceful. I didn't know they made stuff like that." He smiled. "Thanks Bear. Now, I feel ready to go kick some ass. Team 6's gonna own."

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear grinned and nodded, turning back to Jubilee.

[Jayda Nightridge]

Jayda moved to join Marcus and Bear her face solemn as she crossed the room.

Kitted out still in her standard uniform with her hair bound back, she wore a small of back holster nesting her SIG P229 handgun, on one thigh a set of throwing knives whilst on her belt she carried a dual bladed Tanto, a knuckle duster and flash grenades. In one hand she carried a backpack and she ran a hand through her hair, eyeing the others quietly before speaking again her voice soft.

"So I was thinking about what Jubilee said and it occurred to me that we may need some of this stuff." Jayda unzipped the bag and pulled out a coil of steel rope, other things nestled in the bag of a similiar nature including nets.

"Capture right? Not Kill? If only we had thought we could have gotten some of Bear's nifty little balls that would explode a net out when activated... anyone know how to lasso?"

[Simon Kipling]

Simon looked at the other team's equipment and then his own. He was starting to feel a little lacking.

[Byrna Cooper]

"Hmm.." Bear said, fingering a coil of steel rope."I think I'm good.. I don't know if I have the strength to corral one of them.."

She looked over at Simon, who was looking a little glum.

"I bet Enkidu could make good use of it, though."

[Constantine McGraw]

Con arrived, his trenchcoat over his uniform as usual. He was carrying a heavy kit bag and what looked like a gun case.

Catching Jayda's comment as he set the bag down, he smiled.

"Not quite, but I can fake it. However, if it comes to us our them, we take them out and worry about captives another time."

[Chloe Grant]

Chloe heading into the Danger Room dressed in her training suit. She'd figured on spending most of the mission shifted, so she didn't have anything on her besides her 'cockatoo adapted' headset and a set of sharpened steel talon sheaths. "Ready to go?" she said to Simon is a whisper.

[Calvin Strong]

"Never done it before, but I can know how in a few minutes," Cal said, shrugging. "And if it's steel rope, a nice constant electric current might keep them down a little."

[Constantine McGraw]

Con unzipped the kit bag, pulled out four sets of compact night vision gear, with flashlight mounted either side, one of which was UV.

"Darkness is one of their weapons." He said as he handed them round to his team mates. I know we're going in daylight, but there's a good chance it's gonna be pitch black when we get in. "These have low-light, infrared and UV capabilties, with built in flash compensators."

"Now." he said, standing up, the energy whip forming in his hand. "As to that lasso.." he said with a smile, lettting the whip coil up into his hand, before letting it disappate again.

[Jubilation Lee]

Jubilee came into the room "Ok, peoples, I assume you read your briefing materials, but here is the skinny in case you forgot. Team 4 is going to check out a wherehouse that the vamps have been using. There hasn't been any activity for a few days, so we're pretty sure its abandoned. Team 6 is going to check out the building the vamps took their victims to yesterday. We've only been watching it since early this morning. So far no one has gone in or out, there could be some trouble. If you're ready, we'll head to the garage and you can move out. I'll be on the radio here for C&C. If you need help yell and we'll call in the cavalry. Any questions?"

[Constantine McGraw]

"What transportation are we using?"

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear adjusted her headset, smiling and giving the thumbs-up to Con and her teammates.

"Ready to go, Jubilee."

[Marcus Kingston]

He was surprised at how prepared both Jayda and Constantine were. They both brought a lot a good things he was sure would really help them turn the tide in a struggle. He looked over at Jubilee.

"All good here." He stood up then looked too his team. "Ready when you guys are."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal nodded. "Let's move out, guys."

[Jubilation Lee]

"We're taking the school vans." Jubilee answered "Less noticeable than the choppers."

[Constantine McGraw]

"Still not terribly subtle, especially if the vamps have a line on them."
