"I'm sorry I thought I was takin it slow." Kelly placed a hand over his face ashamed and confused. He just sighed in utter confusion and greif.

I don't think you know what slow means.. Zach wondered about that. "I'm not sure if I could describe that kiss you gave me as slow in any form or fashion." He teased. "Mind sitting back down Kelly?"'

"Don't pity me like everyone else, Zach." Kelly kept his face covered but didn't move.

"Oh. I don't do pity very well." He said flatly. This was bad. He didn't know how to deal with emotions like this, despite how much he tried. It appeared that maybe he hadn't proved how he felt enough. Only one course of action he felt would say that and he sighed, having had to go about it. Steadfast. Yes.. He stood up and took a hold of Kelly's hands. As soon as they were yanked down, he leaned in giving Kelly a fairly long kiss.

Kelly was in shock by Zach's actions but then recovered quickly. At first his eyes were wiped open then they slowly closed. He held onto the kiss as long as Zach wanted too.

He slowly broke the kiss, pausing for a moment as he let the feeling linger. He smiled brightly as he motioned his head towards the bed before looking up at him "So, you gonna relax and sit down now?"

Kelly silently sat on the bed unsure of the future but happy. "I'm sorry Zach. I don't know what comes over me sometimes."

"You are simply an emotional guy. The complete opposite of me actually." He said, taking a seat back down beside him. He shifted some and leaned against Kelly a bit. "Not a bad thing. Beings like someone with myself..wouldn't be a fruitful relationship I'm sure.."

"The future is unknown Zach." Since Kelly was taller then Zach he rested his head on top of Zach's. "As you said let's take it slow. Maybe you can teach me something and I can teach you too."

His expression had a hint of amusement to it as he smiled. He wondered exactly what Kelly could teach him. He started to relax and rested more against Kelly.

"Possibly maybe, like the song." He remebered that older Bijork song that he had loved when he was younger. Kelly just sighed unsure of how to act in this possible new relationship. Kelly's hand reached for Zach's to hold.

"Hm? Don't think I've heard it.." He gave Kelly's hand a soft squeeze and sighed contently. This was different but he had to admit, it was nice. His arm that was towards Kelly slipped around the small of his back.

"So, wanna watch TV?"

I'd like to do more then just watch TV with you Zach...Kelly lighty kissed Zach's check. "I would like to watch TV. Do you have MTV?" As usual Kelly never truly thought about the future and was just going with this Zach thing as it played along.

He grinned. "You actually watch that channel? I'm not sure. Do they have it here in London? Sounds like silly American stuff they wouldn't want to deal with." He mused. He picked up the remote off the nightstand and went to turn on the TV. The kiss made him look up at Kelly, the look on his face very much like he was appraising him.

"Hmm. Well we could watch a murder mystery. That way you can tell me what's going on and ruin the ending for me." Kelly playfully teased Zach because he knew he was very good at sluthing. "What do you normally watch, Zach?" He watched Zach curiously and tilted his head as Zach inspected him.

"I've pretty much lived in murder mysteries Kelly." He chuckled softly. "If we do watch one I'm not gonna ruin anything. That's no fun." It took him a moment to think about what things he usually watched. "I don't watch a lot of TV to begin with. I'm more of a reader. I do watch some mysteries though. My TV was always on the History channel or Animal Planet."

Seeing Kelly noticed the way he was staring he glanced away shyly, "Just never got a really close look at you before."

"A close look? Is there somethig on my face?" Kelly pointed his head towards the bed spread and started to wipe away the nothing that was there. After a few moments he looked back up at Zach, "Well I don't think reading a book together would be much fun...I do watch the Animal Plant too. I like watching things about birds."

He reached up and grabbed Kelly's hand, slowly pulling it away from his face. "Nah. Nothing's there. Just realizing how handsome you really are."

He grinned. He managed to hold back his laughter at the rather obvious species Kelly would like. "Birds..? Really Kelly?" He asked teasingly.

"Thank you Zach." Kelly smiled because it was always nice to get a compliment and it was better to return them; is what his grandmother told him. "Zach, I think not only are you attractive but you must be super smart!" Kelly knew he was attractive which was good for hooking people in but he never knew how to keep them hooked...without claws.

"Is it strange that I would like birds?" Kelly didn't get that because he was avian that it would be only natural that he would like birds. "I don't eat anything poultry. I think that's sick."

That was something he hadn't heard in a long time. It made him blush, hearing that someone thought he was attractive. "Heh."

"Why do you blush? Anyone with eyes can see that to be true." Kelly truly thought Zach was a good looking person.

I can't explain these feelings for him but I can't denay them either. Zach what is it that draws me to you?

"I like Birds. I find most animals pretty fascinating. The abilities they're given when they're created are amazing. One I saw on animal planet was this thing that would actually freeze itself when the area was too cold..and when it became warm again, just come back to life."

Kelly lowered an eye brow at Zach's information and didn't know how to reply. "I'm sadly not one of those birds," he stated simply. "I can take the cold though. Up in Sept Isles...it gets pretty cold." Kelly chuckled at his powers to state the obvious, "but I prefer the warmer weather, you?"

He wasn't too interested in watching TV at the moment and just sat there looking at Zach. His face looked like he was thinking which also meant it looked like he was a bit in pain, naturally. He had a strange feeling in his stomach but it wasn't because of anything biological it was definatly emtional.

"Nothing is the matter. I'm just thinking about the now," Kelly was telling the truth. He was thinking about what he should do now. Will Zach ditch me tomorrow? Or is this something real? I don't want to spoil anything either...although it is a nice thought. Kelly began talking his mind without knowing it, "I did already see everything. It was a good view."

"Zach have you eaten dinner yet?"

"Thinking about the now you say? I agree. I'm doing the same." He listened to what Kelly said, surprised he said such things like he did. "I don't plan on ditching you Kelly."

He smiled. "I haven't yet. I'm actually pretty hungry. Maybe we should go out someplace nice for dinner?" He asked and turned off the TV.

"Where shall we go...for our first date?" Kelly was unsure if it was going to be a date or was this still just two friends going to eat. He also didn't want to address the possiblilty of another possible lover leaving him so he ignored Zach's comment about him not leaving.

"I'm not sure but I think there's probably some nice restaurants in the Thames. I'd rather not go too far away from campus. Just to be safe." He was surprised he forgot about that. The vampire attacks. He sighed at the idea.

"Well...I don't want to stay on campus either. I've had my drinking fun for the day." He paused and continued, "Safe? You're with me know Zach. I'll protect you!" He wrapped an arm around Zach's torso and pulled him in for a light squeeze. Kelly was greatly inspired by Marcus' actions earlier that day, although I wish I could have done more for my friend in the shower.

"If something bad happens I can carry you!" Kelly stood up and attempted to lift Zach up in his arms. He knew he could he just wanted to prove that he could to Zach.

The school did a great deal of making him wish his power had some sort of offensive capabilities. He did know what to do to protect himself in a bad situation however. His face had doubt emitting from it at the idea of Kelly protecting him. He didn't know anything of Kelly's fighting prowess. He did know and learn that it took several people to take down just a single one.

Being lifted made him chuckle softly and he placed an arm around Kelly's shoulder. "You sure..?"

Kelly put an arm under Zach's leg and continued to lift him off the bed. He gave a light grunt to release air. His mood was rather cheerful now and it was heard in his voice, "You are in my heart now Zach. I keep everyone I hold dear close. Plus if it gets too hairy I can always fly us away," his voice finished the sentence in a quiet romantic tone, "to the stars." He leaned in to kiss Zach.

Zach found himself laughing. Kelly sure knew how to lay the talk on thick. He was incredibly corny too but in a good way. Besides, worse comes to worse, he could protect them for awhile. "Okay Kelly. It's not too late anyhow." He leaned in to meet him in the kiss. "Course, you can let me down and we can walk outside first. No need to carry me."

Kelly only brought Zach in closer and tighter with Zach's comment. A plus and minus about Kelly is that he got attached quickly and showed his affections often. "I will take us where ever you want to go, my treat." Kelly winked at Zach.

A big smile grew on Kelly's face, "I must take you to the skies! It is a great feeling! The air, the rush, the stars at night!" Kelly was walking towards the door way with Zach still in his arms. "Thames....Thames I think I've heard of that place." Athough he went flying everyday he had a horrible sense of direction...

"It is right outside the campus Kelly." Kelly probably didn't notice but the doorway was far too small for both of them to fit through that way. With a light thud, Zach's head smacked against the door frame. He put a hand out towards the wall to hold push himself away from it, sighing.

Kelly gently put Zach on his feet. He was afraid to say anything so he let his face relay his emotions. There was also a small tear in his left eye. "Zach....I'm so sorry...," his hand went to rub Zach's head were he had knocked him into the frame.

He rubbed the area where his head was hit too. A single eye closed as he made sure it didn't hurt too bad. Just kind of shocked him. When he realized he was okay, he just started to laugh. "It's fine Kelly. Lets just walk out for now okay?" He said and opened his door before stepping out into the hallway.

Kelly didn't say anything and followed Zach outside the door. Once outside he side stepped to allow Zach to lock the door if desired.

It was always awkward when Kelly was silent for too long. Once he looked the door, he looked up at Kelly with a face that seemed to wonder what was wrong.
