"No. Even if you sometimes change for me." she says, still clinging to humor a bit to keep the true brunt of the guilt at bay she knows is hanging over her.

"Now now, no one has to know that, though I'd imagine a few have fertile imaginations."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Didn't plan on sharing that bit with anybody, no." she grins slightly.

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye."

"You know I'm staying with you tonight, right? Wherever you stay."

[Nailah Weaver]

"You better." she says, leaning into Sam. "You better..."

[Samantha McManus]

"Wouldn't have it any other way, love."

[Nailah Weaver]

Nailah just lets out a soft sigh, somewhere between comfortable and dismayed somehow.

"And... if you want, I can make sure you sleep."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'd rather you make sure I don't dream." she smiles weakly.

[Samantha McManus]

"I can do that too, aye."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Thanks..." she whispers, almost looking like she's going to fall asleep right there.
