Sept. 22 - Breakfast

[Rachel O'Brien]

Rachel shook her head "No, but I've got a test in the morning, so its early to bed for me."

[Constantine McGraw]

Con nodded. "I dunno when we get back, but I'll call you. If you go to bed before then, I'll just leave a message or something."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I'll try to stay awake until you call." Rachel replied "I won't be able to sleep anyway."

[Constantine McGraw]

"Hopefully it won't be that late, we're going out sometime this afternoon."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Cool." Rachel said "Just....be careful, ok?"

[Constantine McGraw]

"I will." Finishing up his coffee, he leaned over and kissed Rachel on the cheek.

"Catch you later."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"See you later, Con." Rachel replied, giving him a one armed hug.

[Constantine McGraw]

Con smiled. "Be good Red." he said, returning the hug before heading off.

[Jayda Nightridge]

Jayda laughed at being called a lady, grinning at Kelly as he held open the door and led the way into the dining area.

"So what do you want to eat?"

[Kelly St Luc]

"I will have my usual, fruit, maybe some bread, and juice. Et vous? Will you be having the cereal stuff?" Kelly followed her a little from behind so that she could grab her stuff first.

[Jayda Nightridge]

Jayda nodded.

"Yeah, yoghurt and muesli. A glass of juice. I like to keep it light." She mentioned what she wanted, turning to Kelly with a smile.

"The French is cool, you'll have to teach me some."

[Kelly St Luc]

When they got close to the start of the line he grabbed her a tray and then one for himself. "I understand and I am the same my sparrow."

He looked at her in the eyes and smiled back, <"I can teach you many things about us French Canadians.">

[Jayda Nightridge]

"Sparrow, mountain thingy, yellowhammer - I think you might need to choose one.. " Jayda teased.

"You could be saying anything to me in French and I would have no idea, that hardly seems fair."

[Kelly St Luc]

<"I know,"> Kelly smiled and gave a playful laugh. A light in Kelly's eyes lit up with his idea, "How about for every hour we spend training I spend an hour teaching you French?"

I do call her a lot of different bird names I think I confused myself now, "Tell me what you prefer and it will be done Ms. Nightridge."

[Jayda Nightridge]

Jayda poked her tongue out at Kelly as he spoke French again.

"That sounds like a deal, Monsieur St Luc." She laughed at herself, reaching for some fruit and putting it on one of the trays he was holding.

"I prefer things to happen naturally, call me what you feels natural and if it oversteps I promise to tell you."



"Apple or Banana?" She held the fruit up.

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly playful gave a bite as if he was going to bite her tongue. "La pomme s'il vous plait," he smiled as he grabbed an orange. He liked the attention that he was getting. Most girls were just into one thing with him. This felt like something else to him.

[Jayda Nightridge]

Jayda laughed and skipped backwards away from Kelly.

"Whats the word for this? Orange?" She scooped up a bottle of orange juice.

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly liked that she took an interestin his native language, "Well the orange is just <orange>. Just say it with the French sounds and if you meant the orange juice it's <jus d'orange>." His eyes and body were like a magnet to hers any direction she went he faced.

[Jayda Nightridge]

<Jus d'orange?> Jayda said hesitantly raising an eyebrow before putting it on one of the trays.

"What is this?" She pointed to a carton of milk, genuinely curious.

[Kelly St Luc]

"Tres bon, now the milk is a bit harder it does not directly translate. On peut dire, which means 'one is able to say', une boite de lait ou un verre de lait. Amusant n'est pas?" Kelly ungracefully reached with two hands for a bowl for her breakfast to hand to her. He had a problem gripping items sometimes but not always. He cupped the bowl in both of his hands and offered it to her. He wasn't completely sure what she was having but it sounded like it came in a bowl.

"We should go over the sounds sometime too. French is vowel based which is the opposite from English. A plague on them and all there strange c sounding like s and ch's and th's," he mused as they grabbed there food items.

"May I ask what your plans are for this afternoon?"

[Jayda Nightridge]

"Can I get something for you?"

Jayda accepted the bowl with a smile and grabbed her cereal, then adding milk to it.

"I am on team 6, this afternoon I am reporting for duty. Vampires and all that.."

[Kelly St Luc]

Kelly lowered an eye brow wondering what she was talking about. "No I'm pretty stocked up on fruit and my sliced bread. Thank you though"

"....so this afternoon you have to deal with night walkers that drink blood?" What's the deal why would she spend all this time with me to lie to my face about everyone knows vampires are light sensitive. "Wouldn't they have a meeting like that in the late afternoon? Why would she be so nice to me and then lie...What did I do this time? What the hell are they going to sparkle or something?" Kelly released that he was talking out loud now. Then he went into an awkward silence and looked at her worried of her reaction, "Um...sorry?"

[Jayda Nightridge]

"Yeah, Kelly, I don't take too well to being called a liar. Granted you did it too my face but to be honest that was just.. anyway when it comes down to it I have no reason to lie to you. I'm a mutant who is immortal and can walk through shadows, pissing contest? I win."

Jayda put her bowl on the tray he was holding running a hand through her hair as she shook her head.

"Its quirky, you're cute - I get it, others wouldn't. Damn I was even into it but I don't lie."

[Kelly St Luc]

Was? Oh no I messed up again... Kelly just remained silent with guilt for a few moments. His face showed that he was thinking very hard almost straining himself on what to say or do. He lightly gave a grunt as if it were painful.

After the silence he got enough courage to atleast say something, "So tell me about these vampires are they cuter then me?"

Wow, bad move...

[Jayda Nightridge]

"I have no idea.."Jayda groaned then couldn't help but chuckle. "Lets go sit and eat okay? I could always use another friend around here."

[Kelly St Luc]

Oh the dreaded friend zone. Oh well I don't really have too many friends anyway.

"Well let me pay first. I did say it was my treat my sparrow." Kelly handed the lady the amount and some extra. While at the lady he said, "For you my friend."

When he turned away with Jayda, "She is always so nice to me. Always filling the fruit for me in the morning. I must be there biggest customer for fruit." Kelly did not realize that it was their job and not just for him.
