The song bird sings...

Postby Alyson Carmichael » Sun Jul 12, 2009 3:09 am

In the center of the Quad, near a few trees, stood a girl, but not just any girl, an angel. She was pure and, appeared to be innocent, with a sad smile along her face. Her right hand was stretched out with a tiny bird perched on her index finger. There also seemed to be a few squirrels listening to her. Her voice rang out softly.. It seemed to sad, yet with a hint of love...

Dressed in some light workout clothes, Eddie stepped out into the quad. Pausing to hear the girl sing as he passed by.

The various animals begin to scamper away as the boy approaches. The girl stopped her song, and looked at him gently. Her heterochromia eyes glanced him over gently. The smile stayed upon her lips. "Hello there.." She spoke softly.

She stretched her wings out to full length, before collapsing them again. The tiny bird flew off of her finger, as she made her way over to the newcomer. She wore a light gown that ended just before the tips of her shoes. "My name is Alyson...it is my pleasure." She said very happily, still moving, she trips over a small pebble and falls face first into the grass.

"Yes..." She said, face still in the ground. The girl looked up, took the boy's hand and stood up. "I am sorry...I am just very clumsy..." Her voice was gentle, and she brushed herself off...

Mercy, flying over head, spots a student with wings she hasn't met before. Intrigued, she swoops down, dark energy flickering through her wings. When she lands, a spray of black motes surrounds her for a moment before they vanish.

"Hi there." Mercy smiles at the winged girl, and at Edward.

"I'm doing well. I'm Mercy, I don't think I've met either of you yet. It's maybe a little stereotypical, but I like to meet all the other mutants with wings."

Don't run too far. You'll scare people.

Eddie glances up at the sky, starting to stretch out a bit.

"Sorry if I scared away your friends."

One of the squirrels from earlier runs down the tree and up her gown, resting around her neck. "Oh my..." She raised her hand and brushed the squirrel's fur..

The little squirrel makes noises toward Mercy. "It is alright, Mr. Huggles. She is friendly." She said consoling the small animal, who moved a bit to lean toward Mercy.
