Sept 23: Hey

[Winston Sharpe]

Winston Sharpe scratched his head with his free hand, the other lugging behind him his large blue suitcase as he set foot upon the mowed green lawn of the Xavier Institute. It looked nice enough, green grass, people laughing, not bad at all, now where do I get my info from?

With that thought in mind, he made his way towards what looked to be the Institutes central building.

[Alex Campion]

Alex walked out at about the time Winston reached a spot ten paces from the door .

"Oh. Hey there."

[Winston Sharpe]

"Uh, hi," Winston said, trying to hide his relief that he had found someone to talk to so quickly, "I'm kind of new here and was wondering, do you know where I should go, to get my stuff set up? I'm Winston by the way." He said, motioning his hand as if it emphasised his introduction.

[Alex Campion]

"I'm Alex. And yeah..." he answered, followed up with directions where Winston needed to go.

[Winston Sharpe]

"Neat, thanks heaps," Winston smiled, desperatley trying to retain the directions, "I'll probs see you around later Alex, hopefully at least, this place is huge."

[Alex Campion]

"It's a nice place too. Good luck settling in."

[Winston Sharpe]

"Yea, thanks," Winston turned, before pausing and turning back, "Your skin, it's greyish because you're a mutant too right?"

[Alex Campion]

"Yep. Sure am."

He turned his skin red, then white, then black with red spots, then gray again.

[Winston Sharpe]

Winston laughed, "That's awesome, you're the first mutant I've seen since I left Aus," Sharpe stopped and looked around, "but I guess most of these guys are muties too huh?" He didn't wait for a reply before turning back to Alex with a grin, "Want to see what I can do?"

[Alex Campion]

"Sure, why not. Keep in mind I've only shown the tip of the iceberg."

[Winston Sharpe]

Winston smiled before dropping his suitcase, "So you can do more shit too? That's good, I was about to wonder what the use of changing the colour of your skin was." Sharpe stretched his hand out and focused on releasing a portion of the pooled up thermal energy inside of him, his hand seemed to fizz slightly before dissapearing beneath the explosion that generated out of it. It was small but still loud enough to cause several of the other students on the lawn to turn their heads, "I can do more too, but I don't want to cause too much of a disturbance...on the first day at least." Winston grinned as he picked his bag back up, happy to be able to show off his power for once, "I'd better get this sorted now though, thanks heaps for the directions and stuff, I'll catch up with you later and hey I might be in your dorm or class or whatever."

[Alex Campion]

"Wow. You... explode. And alright."

[Winston Sharpe]

"Ha, yea, I'll see you" Winston said with a wave as he headed towards the Administration Tower, "We should totes get pissed some time!" He yelled back as he walked off.
