"Yeah, your center of gravity shifts, your legs are different lengths--you could seriously hurt yourself.

As for the plat, well, there's a couple things--right now, we're doing a number of two-person, one-act scenes and things, which may eventually be put on. I'm doing a piece by David Ives at the moment.

I'm also in a really horrible, horrible monster movie that I did for some cash--I save money on special effects."

"A series of progressively less plausible monsters, really. The plot really doesn't make any sense...the writer's a total loon. Paid well, though."

"There's some guy in one of my classes named Zach. This is his first mutant school too. Exactly what made you two wait so long to get into one anyway? Not that it's the hot stuff or anything. I found it easier to deal with. Not having to hide..least as much."

"Why'd I wait? I dunno. My first try at coming out as a mutant didn't really go so well, so I just switched schools and didn't tell anybody. Maybe it would have been better if I had just come out and been with other mutants, but I don't think that kind of...segregation would have been all swell for my mental state at the time."

"Yeah. That could be true. It's really not the easiest to deal with. I didn't run off to a mutant school first either but my power left me pretty isolated from the outside world. I only got to see family and doctors...and that was bad enough."
