Sept 11+12 - Dom's office

[Zachary Flint]

"There's no other choice but to wait then. We'll keep a lookout for anything else suspicious." He looked over at Sara. "Should we go back and check on John?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah, let's go see if he's alright. Thanks for your time, Lumis."

[Domanic Taylor]

"No problem. Oh, and just so you know, I think I'll get Wolverine out roaming around, so we should see a drop in dangerous things wandering the campus."

[Stan Bowen]

A while later, there was a knock, And Stan poked his head in.

"Are you busy, Dom?"

[Domanic Taylor]

Denise lets Stan through, as he's fellow faculty and Domanic is not, in fact overly busy.

Lumis looks up at Stan and motions him in. "I prefer Lumis, please. How can I help you?"

[Stan Bowen]

Stan nodded, after a moment- It was obvious he has problems with mutant codenames.

"I just wanted to coordinate before classes started- see if there was anything you wanted communicated during the first class."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Well I saw the curricula you sent and I didn't see any real problems. I have heard some scuttlebutt that people are wondering if the Mutant Studies program will be an easy-A program, we should disabuse them of that notion right away. Other than that I can't think of anything."

Lumis waves at one of the chairs in his office. "Take a seat if you like, how are you settling in?"

[Stan Bowen]

Stan chuclked a bit, taking a seat.

"Don't worry about the level of difficulty- We'll chase any misconceptions away very quickly. I'm settling in okay, I suppose. Meeting the faculty and staff, wandering around the area.. It's very nice."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Excellent, I have big hopes for the Mutant Studies department."

[Stan Bowen]

"We'll make it into the best program on the European continent, at the very least."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Well, I'd also like to see some things out of the classroom. Festivals, cultural events, something that will give students who graduate from this university a shared identity as mutants. Something that will let them look back at their time here, and say, 'XLU was where I realized who I was as a mutant'. Programs that will build common ground for the future."

[Stan Bowen]

"That shouldn't be a problem. We already have a few activites scheduled for the department, and I'll be sure to mention your desires at the next staff meeting. I'm sure the students have some good ideas as well."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Wonderful. I'd love it if we became known in the mutant community for more than just our X-Team program."

[Stan Bowen]

Stan bristled a little at the mention of the X-Team program, but not so much as to be very noticeable.

"I'll see what we can come up with in the first survey class, Lumis."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Great. Any concerns you need to bring to me, or questions about anything? I know that Charles is the President on paper, but he has very little energy these days, so I've been doing most of the work, which I don't mind."

[Stan Bowen]

Stan smiled, rising from his seat.

"No, I think that's just about it. I'll keep you informed if anything happens, though. Have a good week, Lumis."

[Domanic Taylor]

"You too, see you around."
