Things were humming in the Mutant studies department as students filed in and out, and the administration staff politely provided directions and appointments for the instructors of the department.

Stan was in his office, typing on his computer and preparing for his first classes.

After she was done talking to Fitz, Amanda knocked on the door to Stan's office.

Stan looked up, smiling when he saw who it was.

Waving Amanda in, he finished up an email before turning her way.

"Hey. I just wanted to coordinate the tests, and make sure that all the classes are spread out a bit. Do you have a few minutes?"

They got to work, Stan bringing up the various syliabi on his computer and moving some dates around. It took a bit longer then he expected, and it was starting to darken outside when they were done.

"That should do it.. sorry about how long it took, though.."

"Its not a problem." Amanda said with a smile "I didn't have any other plans for the evening, beyond starting to over the reading for next week.'

"Well, in that case, want to go grab a bite to eat? There's a pretty good Irish place a couple blocks from campus."

"That sounds like an excellent idea. I could use some dinner." Amanda said, getting ready to stand up "Just let me grab my coat and stuff from my office, and I'll be ready to go."

"Okay. I'll meet you out front in a couple minutes."

Stan likewise started packing up and shutting down his computer before turning off the lights and locking his door.
