Issue 1 Downtime

Wandering into the Plume Library with a small bag over her shoulder, Veronica looks around with a relaxed expression. Libraries were one of her favorite places, and what made this library interest her even more was it's supposed collection of rare books. She knew somewhat was she was looking for, but was a bit unsure as to if they actually had anything like it. She began to stroll over to the main desk.

Will, meanwhile, had been spending some time in the history section--a bit of an odd place for him, but it worked, notwithstanding.

Once she reached the desk, she began to ask the librarian a few questions. She nodded when being told the answers to them, and judging by her reaction she fully expected it to be that way. Nevertheless, she wrote down the places to find a few of what they *did* have available. Thanking the librarian, she made her way to the history section.

Will, browsing the history of Ireland, nearly crashed into her walking around a corner.

"Woah! I'm sorry about that!"

"Oh!" Stoping fast, she waves a hand. "No no, it is quite alright!" She looks him over and smiles. "Ah, I remember you from zee orientation! I...can't say I remember your name, however. Bad memory, my apologies."

"Will! Zat was it. Sank you. And yes, Veronica. You remembered! Now I just feel silly." She chuckles a bit, looking around. "You were doing some research?"

"Zen zee library is one off zee best places to learn it, I suppose. Personally I believe zat zee first hand knowledge is better zan in second hand books, but we can not always have zat, non?"

"Eh, not that I know of. I think he does for his classes though. I think one of his students is working on a special project or something?" Will shrugged. "He used to deny everything, but less so now."

"I think he is, yeah--he's in the main building, normally. You'll find him there most afternoons, I think, unless he's sleeping.

I rarely spend much time in the admin office anymore, unless I'm going to tell Sam...er, the headmistress something."

"No, actually, this is just for fun. I'm actually a theater major, or as much of one as you can be at a school with a very small department."

"Honestly, there's not enough people here for a full-on production of anything exciting. I've picked up a couple commercial roles in the past, but my life recently has been, erm, hectic."

"I admit I agree wis you zere. However, yes, it is more than just zee weather. It is nice to be able to be around oders who understand our situations. Before, I had friends zat dropped me as soon as word spread off my blood results. Mais, here..." She looks around with a smile. "Being able to be myself truly and utterly is refreshing."
