[Narrator]

I don't know..... Daisy replied, sounding nervous. I want to get out of here...


When Mars got to the door, she'd find that it was locked.

The thug let out a grunt of pain when Alex hit him, but didn't go down. The one who Mariuset hit with a chair had a similar reaction. He was bleeding a little from where Sidney had stabbed him, but that didn't stop him from advancing on her.

[Haley Crusek]

We can help you get outta here...I can keep a shield around you for a while... Keep you safe

[Alex Carpenter]

Oh what does it TAKE! Alex pushed himself up to his feet, aiming his fist under the thugs chin as he came up.

[Sidney Young]

"Alright, asswipe, bring it." she takes up an improvised fighting stance and swipes the bottle at the guy's face.

[Steve Jones]

Mars grabs Steve by the arm to get his attention, "This is getting bad. We should get people out of here before this gets out of hand."

With that said, Mars starts making her way to the exit.

The distraction stopped his efforts cold, and he followed her.

Seeing her fruitlessly tug on the door sent a chill down his spine.

"Guys, the doors are locked. These guys are so not regular assholes," he mindspoke to the other XI kids.

ill break down the fucking door if it's actually locked. she replied mentally.

[Thomas Bowen]

Tommy stood alone, a frightened eye on the apparently unstoppable bad guys.

[Calvin Strong]

Cal sighed. "Tell them to keep their panties on, I'll get the door," he told Haley, reaching into his pack for another gadget.

[Narrator]

It was at that point that the room started to fill with a thick white smoke. Anyone who had to breathe would be knocked out in a matter of moments.

[Calvin Strong]

Cal coughed and started hurrying, RUNNING, even, toward the door.

Which, of course didn't work. Which he realized when he hit the ground and everything went black.

[Haley Crusek]

Haley's eyes widened as the smoke started to fill the room. She pushed her telepathy as hard as she could.

Oh god help Professor McManus, Mister Asters, anybody! We're...we're....we...

Haley stumbled, her mind growing hazy as the room spun and blurred around her, until she fell to the ground.

[Alex Carpenter]

What the... oh SHIT, no! Alex gritted his teeth, then lunged at the closest thug. Tackle him, then... Shit, WHY ARE THERE NO GODDAMN WINDOWS HERE! Tackle him, run past him, break the door down, get everyone out of here. Right. That's the plan.

[Emily Inque]

"Good. I needed a nap," Emily says. She sits down and stretches before leaning against the wall and falling asleep.

[Sidney Young]

"The fuck is this bullshit?" Sid asks the universe at large. Despite her need to breathe she seems to be doing mostly okay.

[Aisha Khan]

Aisha fell down in a heap. Oddly, once she had passed out, she went visible.

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil's telekinetic field would at best slow down how fast the gas got to him only slightly. He looked around as people closer to the source of gas started falling down.

"Gas? What the bloody hell is going on here?"

Then he collapsed.

[Steve Jones]

"Mars! We've... gotta..." Steve said groggily as he passed out.

[Narrator]

The thug grabbed Alex and threw him over his shoulder.

The thug closest to Sid tried to punch her in the jaw.

Meanwhile, Daisy vanished.

[Narrator]

Mariuset also did her best to make it to the door, but collapsed before she could make it.

[Thomas Bowen]

Tommy barely observed the kidnapping of Alex and the disappearance of the girl in question! before he also collapsed in a heap.

[Alex Carpenter]

"God damn- LET ME THE FUCK GO!" Alex shouted, starting to hammer his fist brutally into the back of the thug's head as he was unceremoniously slung over the guy's shoulder.

[Sidney Young]

Sid, with considerable experience in not-giving-a-fuck takes the punch straight on. Her jaw makes an odd crunchy noise though. Not that it stops her from swinging her broken bottle at the thug anyway. She does seem a little drowsy from the punch and the gas though.

[Narrator]

The thug who was tangling with Sidney tried to grab her wrist, and so stop her from stabbing him with the bottle.

Meanwhile, the one who was holding Alex tried to clout him on the head.

[Sidney Young]

He easily catches her wrist and the bottle falls from her hand. "Hey fuckface." she says before kneeing him in the groin.

[Narrator]

The thug let out a grunt of pain, but that didn't stop him from headbutting her.

[Sidney Young]

Sid's jaw is still in the process of re-setting itself and her head lolls a bit, stars dancing in front of her eyes. "Gunna have ta punch 'arder tha that." she says, though she doesn't exactly look like it takes that much more.

[Narrator]

"This enough, girlie?" he sneered, as he punched her again.

[Sidney Young]

Sid tries to lift her free arm to make a smartass gesture but then just passes out.

[Alex Carpenter]

The thug punching Alex would have exactly the effect you'd expect: The hand that was punching the steel boy would probably hurt like hell. Alex growled and thrashed and continued trying to break free and kick this guy's ass.

[Narrator]

"Ouch!" the thug said, not letting go of Alex. "Come on." he said to the other thug "Lets get this lot out of here."

[Brigid Plunder]

Brigid struggled to get back up, but slumped down again, unconscious.

[Marcie Tiboldt]

And Mars crumples on top of Steve.

It would've been awkward if either one of them were conscious.

[Narrator]

"Sounds about right." the other thug said, opening up a trap door.
