Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as additional housing and classroom space for the Institute. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for both the Institute and those University students on a meal plan. Student reactions have been mixed, and reports of paranormal activity are as of yet unsubstantiated.
Melissa seemed to be at odds with the sun coming in the through the remaining windows as she gathered her breakfast and settled into a table to pick at the fruit and other light fare on her plate.
"Oh!" Vivienne blink a little in shock then regain her manners. "Forgive me, I am still very unaccustomed to modern courtships. This kiss, a shame to not recall such a thing clearly or a blessing?"
"I understand that's one of the things that makes us so special," she said, "Though I didn't have much opportunity to interact with the Fey in the United States."
"We still use 'mad', though it's generally used by someone trying to sound more sophisticated. So other than figuring out how awful everyone is, have you been adjusting okay?"
"Well, I wouldn't know anything about that, but she's a pretty significant hero in her own right, so she's definitely someone I wouldn't want to disappoint."
