It was after midnight and Molly was awake and active. She had finished her homework for the night and had settled into the common room to watch scary movies.

On screen, a mutated bear was attacking campers. Molly laughed at the ridiculous special effects.

Molly squeaked, flew up into the corner, and hissed. In that order.

Once she realized she wasn't about to be murdered, she relaxed, "Cheese and crackers, you scared me."

The back of the couch, where she rested her hand, was beginning to warp a little as she subconciously tightened her grip.

On screen, a horrific creature screeched before ripping into a man trying to climb a fence to get away. It looked like a skinned bear.

"Scary movie channel," Molly says, glancing at the screen. "I used to really hate them but..."

Someone screamed, There was a sound of flesh and bone being torn.

"...They've sort of helped with my insomnia."
