I13: Going Goth!

Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as additional housing and classroom space for the Institute. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for both the Institute and those University students on a meal plan. Student reactions have been mixed, and reports of paranormal activity are as of yet unsubstantiated.

I13: Going Goth!

Postby Molly Malcolm » Mon Dec 16, 2013 10:36 pm

Molly had been pouting.

The club opening had started too early for her to attend. She could've just showed up a bit late, but she had gotten into a bit of a snit about the whole thing and refused to go.

Then she had gotten depressed.

Then she had started reading about vampires.

Now she was dressed like a stereotype and sitting in the library trying to get a Ouija board to work.

Molly had completely gone 'round the bend.

"Oh, dark spirits," Molly says to no one in particular, "Attend to me!"

"...."

"...."

"....Oh, come on! Please?"

"That's not quite how you work that, you know," Trini said, watching from around the corner.

Molly yelps and shoots several feet straight up into the air.

"Oh my god," Molly says, "I thought you were a ghost or a demon."

"...you aren't, right?"

"I'm Molly. Molly Malcolm."

"Yeah, that's me," Molly says, "The blood-sucking abomination."

She forces a weak smile, accidentally showing off her fangs.

"Nobody's going to elect a vampire," Molly says, "It was hard enough being a mutant, now I actually am a monster that eats people."

"Even though it's their fault for being delicious in the first place."

Trini had been prepared for this, and unleashed from a small, personal spray canister, not mace--but a bit of aerosoled garlic.

"How? By spraying me with garlic?" Molly asks between coughs. She takes an inhaler out of her pocket and takes a puff. This seems to stop the coughing at least.
