At the agreed time, Steve approached Mars' door. He wasn't dressed up, though he did comb his hair and make his breath all fresh and all that junk. He tucked in his shirt at the last minute before knocking.

Be cool Steve. Cooool.

Mars opened the door, dressed in a simple long skirt and long sleeved shirt combo. She smiles at Steve.

"Hey, right on time," Mars says happily, "Come on in."

He caught himself staring as he entered.

"Wow... you look... n-nice..."

"Crud... is your player DVD or Blu-Ray?"

He looked closer and breathed out. "Good, I grabbed the right disc," he said, putting it in.

"Do you want me to run down to the common room for drinks or anything?"

Mars laughs, "I grabbed some snacks earlier, don't worry about it."

"I have cola or root beer if you want a drink," Mars says, "Plus, popcorn."

Mars grabs two root beers and the bowl of popcorn and sets them in front of the couch.

"So, what's this about?" Mars asks.

"This guy discovers he is some kind of mystical warrior called a Jedi. Telekinesis, telepathy, and a nifty laser sword. There is an evil empire and a rebellion. Space battles and sword fights and other cool stuff."

The intro scrawl begins.

"Episode 4 was made first," he explained preemptively, "Kinda weird huh?"

"So, it's in media res," Mars asks, "That's pretty cool."

As the move started playing, Mars subtly moved a little closer to Steve. Not really snuggling up, but just getting a bit closer.
