Issue 1 Downtime

Kay spends a lot of time in line today, deliberately taking forever to get her food because she's waiting for Theresa to show up. When she does she hurries over to her table, only slowing down on the final approach. She doesn't actually put her plate down but just kinda awkwardly stands next to the table for a moment.

"Hey, uhm... Just wanted you to know I read your blog post and... well that I thought it was pretty awesome of you to post that."

Theresa was obviously a little surprised that Kay came over, but when she stated why, she smiled and shrugged, "Just felt like I had to have my say, even if only a few people read it, you know? That guy's visit just scares the crap out of me."

"Yeah. It's... I dunno. Scary." She goes quiet for a while and shifts from one foot to the other. "Hey, uhm, you maybe wanna go see that Stark biopic? Christie and Regan are coming too!" she adds quickly, realizing how that sounded.

"I appreciate it, but I'll have to pass. I'm sure Christie and Regan wouldn't be happy to see me."

"Look I just... I hate not being friends with you and Brigid just hangs out with Alex all the time now... Regan doesn't like anybody equally and Christie's nice..."

Theresa raised an eyebrow. "The last time Regan and I spoke at length, she accused me of being a predator for starting a relationship with you. And the last time I spoke to Christie, she implied things about Brigid and myself and I implied things about her personal hygiene."

"I don't know for certain why Christie would do that. I have my own private opinions, but you seem to like her, so I'll keep them to myself."
