Issue 1 Downtime

Theresa had left the door open to her room, but she was obviously not paying attention to the room at large, occasionally banging keys on her laptop, most notably the F5 key.

Not much longer after Kay posts her own comment she hurries over to Theresa's room.

"Hey Ree, there's... oh you saw, huh?"

"Yeah, the damn trolls," she frowns, turning around.

"Maybe? I don't know yet. Hopefully it's just one and I can blacklist him or her and be done with it. By I'm not that hopeful." She sighed, "You doing okay?"

"I'm teasing you, Kay. We've gotta laugh at something, right? Somehow I doubt you'll be tattooing 'Thug Life' across your knuckles anytime soon." Theresa held out her hand.

Theresa tugged her hand gently, pulling Kay towards her. "So what could I do that would unbum you?"

"Dunno... This is a good start." she musters a smile, giving her hand a soft squeeze.

Theresa squeezes her hand back, "They're just assholes that wish they had what you have. An awesome place to stay, awesome friends to hang out with, and an awesome girlfriend."

"I agree, the mansion is quite the sight." She kissed the back of Kay's hand, since she was still sitting and it was within reach.

"I dunno, it looks kinda shabby in comparison." she smiles, sitting down in Theresa's lap.

Theresa hugged her, "We should see if Brigid and Alex want to go out for Chinese food or something."

"Okay!" she says leaning forward to give Theresa a quick peck on the cheek before jumping up. "Be right back then."

Theresa smiled, getting her stuff together and moving to the couch with her laptop. She began fishing through the movie selection she had access to while she waited for Kay.

It doesn't take long for her to get back, loaded up with a bottle of coke and a bag of candy bars. She settles in next to Theresa and cuddles up to her. She also seems to have put on the tiny bit of perfume.

Theresa looks puzzled for the briefest of moments as the scent hits her and then she just smiles. "So what're you in the mood for?"

Theresa found something that looked suitably cheesy and fit the description. She pulled the blanket up and cracked open her drink.

Kay takes the other end of the blanket and pulls it around them, settling in to watch the movie and occasionally munching on some candy.

After a while, Theresa was leaning against Kay, sliding an arm around her.

Kay lets out a faint happy sigh, not really paying too much attention to the movie anymore.
