"Miss Weaver's been giving me a hand with that."

[Steve Jones]

The whole vision thing made more sense now.

"Ahhh... She thinks you're like her? The precognition thing I mean."

[Miranda Weaver]

"She doesn't know. Sometimes I see things in places where I'm not, but I don't know if it's the future or just... well, like watching something on the television."

[Steve Jones]

The memory of the dead girl crawling out of the common room television flashed through his head.

"Could be something like Astral Projection I guess."

[Miranda Weaver]

"Okay, I'm sorry to pry, but that mental image was just creepy."

[Steve Jones]

He winced.

"Shit... you saw that?"

[Miranda Weaver]

"Only briefly. It was really close to the surface. I'm still getting a handle on staying out of other people's thoughts. I'm really sorry," she apologized.

[Steve Jones]

"It's... okay. I'm still getting a handle on keeping my thoughts to myself. It was just a majorly creepy thing that I saw in the Astral."

[Miranda Weaver]

"I see into the Astral sometimes, or at least that's what Miss Weaver said. It's pretty."

[Steve Jones]

"Parts of it yeah," he said fondly. He sent her a glimpse of the golden field he saw when he first entered the Astral. He left out the freaky gazebo and the evil place beyond.

[Miranda Weaver]

"That does look like a nice place. When I see it, it sort of feels like I felt when I saw this." She tried to respond with an image of the brief glimpse of the Savage Land she'd gotten after escaping the Black Air facility.

[Steve Jones]

"Whoa... where is that?" he asked, impressed.

[Miranda Weaver]

"That was where I was when the X-Men rescued me. They called it the Savage Land. I don't really know much more about it other than it was pretty."

[Steve Jones]

"Those mad scientist assholes had you? That... that's just..."

[Miranda Weaver]

"In the past now thankfully." She smiled.

[Steve Jones]

"Very thankfully," he smiled.
